The release date of season 2 of the Kingdom of Ruins should not be expected in the nearest announcements from the studio due to the lack of original material. Fans are already in great anticipation, because the anime ended on an intriguing note, but the release entirely depends on the speed of publication of the source material. The title has an interesting plot based on the confrontation between magic and science, a witch hunt and the theme of revenge.
The idea is not new, but Yokohama Animation Lab and yoruhashi implemented it well, supporting it with high-quality visuals, cruelty and epic battles. This article contains all the details about the sequel to Hametsu no Oukoku that are currently available online.

When will Season 2 of Kingdom of Ruin be released?
At the moment, studio management has not made official statements about the renewal of the show and it is impossible to say for sure whether there will be a season 2 of the Kingdom of Ruin. The manga has 9 volumes, of which about 6 have been filmed, so there is not enough material for another chicken. Briefly about the events of the previous season
After the Redia Empire was able to develop amazing technology that surpasses magic, a witch hunt began. The powerful Chloe and her student Adonis also became victims of this cruelty. In front of the young man’s eyes, his mentor was first humiliated in front of the crowd and then executed. After these events, he vows revenge, and 10 years later, during the beginning of the escape in the internment camp where he was held, he is freed by the girl Doroka.
After the battles in the camp, the protagonist finds himself on the Moon, where he finds out the truth about the race of witches and their nature, as well as the fact that Chloe can be returned. At the same time, it becomes known that the witch-hunting device created by Redia is dangerous to human health. Adonis intends to destroy the Empire, but enemy troops find the surviving witches on the Moon due to a tracking chip in the protagonist's body.
Faced with a difficult choice, the young man decides instead of Chloe to resurrect Dorok, who sacrificed herself for him, and during an attack by Redia’s warriors he hides with her. The season finale was a battle with the most dangerous enemy Shirosagi, practically invulnerable to magic and endowed with dangerous technologies. Adonis manages to win, but his companion loses her eyes. He promises to restore her sight, the witch accepts his path of revenge and leaves with him. In the sequel to the Kingdom of Ruins, expect a couple of protagonists to clash with the cyborg Yuki, obsessed with revenge, and try to restore Dorok's ability to see.
