Is Busch Gardens more expensive than Disney? ›

The answer is always yes, especially at certain peak times of the year like summer, spring break and the holiday season. Busch Gardens sent updated pricing showing single-day tickets start at $89.99, marked down from $124.99. Next in the rankings was Walt Disney World, starting at $109 per ticket. Tied for third place were Universal's Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios at $105 per ticket, according to the study.

Universal Prices. And as a general rule of thumb, Universal is cheaper than Disney in almost every category, from tickets to theme park food, and the most noticeable being hotel rooms. And not only are the Universal hotels cheaper, but we feel like guests receive more amenities for free at Universal vs Disney World.

With its four theme parks, Disney World offers a more expansive experience, but Disneyland is more affordable.
