They have wonderful choirs. Or let me say I love their choirs. So if you love quality worship, I recommend this place.People seem friendly. I was standing, someone walked up to me and found me a seat, it might be protocol, it worth acknowledging.The people sitting around me are friendly and warm.There are several interesting events they announce that one can attend.It is advisable to be there in time because of parking. Sure, they have enough parking space. However, if you don't want to be too far from the entrance, then be on time.The message was simple and works for all levels of believers. I am sure they will have Bible study days, but I do not know.Above all, God's presence was awesome.

Thoroughly enjoyed the worship, fellowship and Bible-based teaching. Alabaster Box was incredibly peaceful space. Beautiful grounds.

I live in the Redding area and have attended Bethel church many times. I’m pretty much home bound today but I love Bethel Church and appreciate them and the witness they are for The Gospel of The LORD Jesus. Glory to God!

I went to their Worship School in July. It was nothing short of amazing! God showed up and spoke in so many ways. Being there felt like being home. It felt like family. All I can say is that Bethel, their leadership, and all their teams truly love the Lord and His word. I encourage everyone to make a trip to see and understand the genuineness of this place.

Women pastors? Does not align with scripture. My daughter said this a cult - read counterfeit kingdom book. Jesus loves you and wants a Bible based church for you. Calvary Chapel teaches the word.

Amazing. Such a great experience. A place where you can truly feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. Such a cool community of believers that encourage and pray for each other. Really special to have a prophetic word prayed over my child and the staff write it down for the family to continue praying over my kid.

Always appreciate this church and its strength, some of the teachings, worship, the encouraging empowering prophetic messages of healing… I’ve grown and learned a lot!! But just like any other church there’s no place that’s perfect. There’s always area to improve and even repent (like the churches in Book of Revelation). Staying humble is really the key for longevity :) blessings!!

I really can’t say enough good things about this church, my husband and I got to meet pastor Bill Johnson , we drove 5 hours to visit for the very first time. We will never forget our first experience here. Powerful worship incredible preaching, we attended the 10:30 service 1pm and 6pm service can’t get enough, just so hungry for worship and experiencing the Lord in a fresh new way.

So my husband and I drove all the way down from Central Oregon, five hours to visit Bethel Church words cannot express how much our lives are impacted and changed. This is such a phenomenal church. Incredible worship. The Holy Spirit is really here and the pastors are so friendly and will actually talk to you. I cannot highly recommend this Church enough. We attended like three services. We just couldn’t get enough of the Worship and the teaching and the preaching and we also got prayed for they really do care about You.

The last two times that I’ve been driving through Redding and needed to rest somewhere (ideally in the parking lot of a church) security/staff have booted me off the premises. When someone is exhausted and it’s not safe for them to drive, a house of God is the first place that they should look to. It wouldn’t be an issue where I come from in WA state. I live bethel sermons and worship, however having this happen to me a second time in a row I feel justified in leaving this review. Jesus wouldn’t want us getting in accidents.

My sweet wife and I visited Bethel Church during Father’s Day weekend. Father’s Day is such a painful time for me because I lost a child and it was such a redemption. It was such a sweet time. The worship was incredibly life-changing words cannot express how much we were blessed and impacted at Bethel Church from the incredible worship to the inspirational and challenging teaching from Pastor Bill Johnson. I cannot highly recommend. We will definitely be back so if you’re anywhere near Northern California, please take a chance and visit this church. Your life will never be the same.

Attended Open Heavens conference and was thoroughly blessed. Real people seeking after God and full of His love sharing it with others. Bethel is our home away from home. People giving their heart and soul to make a difference in a world that is lost and in need of God’s saving grace and salvation. Love you Pastor Bill and all your family faithfully serving the Lord here at Bethel. Side note, there is a cost for the conferences, well worth the investment into my spiritual life.

This isn’t a church. Just a business set on taking your money and tickling your ears. Leaders don’t care about the staff or congregation. Filled with false prophets (Kris V) and false apostles(Bill J). They rarely open the Bible and twist the scriptures when they do open it. The music will hypnotize you. These people are deceived and preach a different gospel other than what’s in the Bible. They will shipwreck your faith and relationship with God. Stay away and go to a real church.

All they do to attract people is to emphasize experience and feelings, that's why it's like a comedy show in there. People think that the Holy Spirit is working in the building with all the songs, but no even the songs are just feelings and unbiblical with man-centered worship. If you think this is a true Christian church, then you haven't read the Bible.

I attended this church for a one time visit. 45 minutes was all worship. It was really good worship although some songs are questionable. My main concern is the fact that I didn’t hear ANY teachings directly from the Bible. No scriptures not a verse nothing for 2 hours of talking. All I heard was the pastor talking about his childhood. He began the service with odd prophecies. He would say someone had dream of this and asked them to stand up. Only two out of like five times did someone actually stand up. When they did he would say something that would be pretty obvious in any Christian’s life that would happen. I’m non-denominational. But the tricky thing is when a church says they are non-denominational they can teach anything they want even if it’s not from the Bible. Their book store has a whole shelf of supernatural books. You know where ghost come from? The devil…Don’t go if you are a first time church goer. You’ll get easily sucked into lukewarm Christian teachings(half truth half lie)

Absolutely authentic inspiring worship Messages that are both insightful and practical..online or in the Sanctuary this is a place to grow in your knowledge of how to live The Kingdom Life while being accepted and loved in this realm.

Not sure why other Christians give this church bad reviews. I moved to Redding recently and having read Bill Johnson’s book “When Heaven Invades Earth” I wanted to give this church a try. If had had read the reviews and have been persuaded otherwise I would have missed out on confirmation the Holy Spirit gave me while I was here.Bill Johnson is a blessed man of God and the sermon hit home. I would recommend this church to anyone. However please know that they have an overflow room. This church does get packed. I felt like I was at a concert. I got there 5 mins. before service started. It was hard to find seating and then was told by the ushers that the 3rd row had 8 empty seats. Praise be to God for the open seats! Would definitely go back again.This church you may or may not want to make your home church for the reasons being that it gets crowded, and there are lots of conferences which are directed towards leadership skills as opposed to a normal church.

Drove up from near Sacramento, picking up a friend from Chico, to hear Argentinian Pastor Claudio Friedzon for their Sunday evening service. I was disappointed to discover that he wasn't speaking.I had forgotten that Bethel usually doesn't announce who their Sunday night speaker is. Their goal is to prepare people more for an encounter with the Lord instead of with a famous personality.The guest speaking couple were humble and visibly touched by God's Presence! I don't know what to say....Wow! WOW!! W O W 💝 ❣️ ‼️ The worship ushered in the LORD'S PRESENCE--IT WAS OFF THE CHARTS GLORIOUS 💥 🔥 ❤️‍🔥 ✨️...mere words fail to do it justice...unbelievable⚡️.

We had a really great time at the Sundial Bridge. Walking on the river walk, the Turtle Bay Museum and checking out the bridge which is very cool.The Sacramento River has great trails with wildlife all around. The trail near the bridge includes a beautiful garden with educational stops for everyone.The Turtle Bay Museum and it's grounds were fun for all of us, including my fifteen year old daughter. She interacted with birds in the Parrot House and butterflies, and zipped on the zip-line in the playground.I'm sure her favorite part was the butterflies though, as we spent well over an hour in the butterfly house.In the museum there was a hand on educational room that has really fun activities about prehistoric flying reptiles, Pterosaurs.A whole room displaying replicas of the items discovered in King Tutankhamun.Pretty fascinating.There is a cafe that is currently being remodeled but Mosaic Restaurant was open.If you are unfamiliar with reading it's very hot in the summer months and stays pretty warm until October. I recommend sunblock and if your heat sensitive the indoor part of the museum and Mosaic restaurants during the summer.Otherwise visit early or in the evening I know they open at 9:00 a.m. the bridge and trails are always open but not all of the grounds.

Beautiful FREE nature and artsy area, connects with a separate parking area on the other side of the botanical garden that closes earlier, so if you want to stay later this is the side to go in at. I am here in the winter, & the sun went down early so I was able to get some nighttime shots. The restrooms are clean, the park was well-kept except I really wish the botanical garden had better signage, many plants had zero signs telling you what they are.

Pretty interesting stop on the way home. It’s been a place my wife has been wanting to see. But now that we have seen the bridge we may want to stop back by to check our the other places like the Turtle Bay Exploration Museum. There was plenty of parking and also changing stations.

It's just a nice looking bridge. Nothing much to see tbh. There is a turtle bay museum on one side and the bridge floor is all glass chambers. Looks cool.Tesla charges available at the parking.

This place is RAD!!!! very interesting to see a giant sundial and to learn some of the history behind it. Plus a big botanical garden to walk through. I recommend stopping for a few and checking out out. And the scenery,trees and river and so much more......

The Glow Show at turtle Bay was lots of fun and unique. Fun for everyone. Food is available from Mosaic restaurant mobile units and hit the spot and beverages are available too. This made for a very pleasant walk in the evening. Children were really enjoying themselves and lots of photo ops are scattered throughout the 10 acre display.

Visited the city over a weekend. Beautiful view of the Redding sunset! Very clean and calm environment. The electric scooters were all dead or on low battery according to the app, so that was kinda of a bummer. Overall though it’s a cool spot :)

It's a great looking bridge in Redding, CA. Crosses the Sacramento river. It is a sundial bridge that gives time based on the sun position throughout the day. River is amazing matches well with the floor of the bride. Water is cold, but it definitely keeps you cool in these hot summer days.

We have visited Sundial bridge during our Shasta trip. This bridge is built over Sacramento river. Its a beautiful bridge. You can also go for little hike. I have seen locals hiking. Near by there is Turtle Bay exploration center if you want you can visit that place too.

I love taking evening strolls here, especially during sunset time. In the summer that is really the best time to walk my dog since the pavement can get too hot during the day. But the evening time is beautiful to see the sunsets over the water. The lights at the bridge are beautiful as well. There are many different paths to take that keeps my walking route interesting. There are usually people along these paths, especially on the bridge taking picture or in the area down below the bridge. The area down below next to the river is super cool, and helps to cool you down on hot days. I have encountered snakes on the path when it starts to get dark, so be careful and aware, especially with pets.

Beautiful scenery surrounding this incredible landmark. The scenes were elevated by the sun and warmth with the tips of the surrounding mountain range covered in snow! If just for a moment to breathe and enjoy being out and about, this is a must on anyone's Redding list when in the area! Let alone the incredible engineering of the bridge itself!

Had a quick minute on a recent business trip to stop and check out the Sundial Bridge. Nicely done! Lots of walkers, bikers, and school field trippers enjoying the area. Looking forward to returning and doing more exploration. 😀

Well, Gladys kept suggesting we visit this bridge, so we did. It was pretty cool, but we didn't realize it was part of the Turtle Bay attraction. The theme park has an admission price, but the bridge itself didn't. It's not transparent glass as we thought but still worth the visit. 😁

This was way more cool than I expected! Photos cannot do the sundial Bridge it's true justice. A local showed us a cool trick, if you out your ear against the sundial cords and hit the cord with something hard, the sound travels up the line and back! Very neat!

Interesting feature was a pleasant surprise in Redding. Nice walk across the bridge and Interesting features. Didn't know the tall spire is actually a sundial. Full park was closed when we arrived, but it was nice to view what we saw. Nice side visit 😁👍

Went for a pedal ride out past Keswick damn . Saw lots of people on the river trail, enjoying the early, cool morning . It happened to be the health expo day . Enjoy the scenery and beautiful river . Love this place as a native resident. The river is a bit chilly if you decide to wade in or jump in.

The sundial bridge is an amazing experience. It's the best place to visit the best place for a walk. It's always the perfect temperature. And I would highly recommend going. It's never too busy and the sights are amazing there's always ducks underneath. It's a great family visit. I'm totally going again 😌🥪

Looks like a quite fancy bridge with the glass floor. You may feel the cold water and a different view of the bridge by the river beach. There are some trails for walking in this park. The museum is next to the bridge entrance.

1st time here just passing through town on a road trip but weather was nice enough for a stop. Easy parking & walked from the turtle bay river trail. Weekday afternoon & not crowded at all. Beautiful bridge for walking across. There was fishing boats under & looks like they were definitely having good luck catching. Blue skies with gorgeous clouds but overcast enough where I wasn’t able to see the actual sundial time. Very impressive bridge.

I would recommend going at night...But only if you can afford the somewhat steep $20 ( with a $5 discount for Turtle Bay Members) admission fee to the Glowing Wild event.According to the flyer,"Experience Glowing Wild Lantern Festival for the first time at the Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay Exploration park, featuring 10 acres of botanical gardens filled with larger-than-life Asian lantern displays inspired by wildlife and plants from around the world, great for all ages."Although pretty amazing and colorful during the day...Apparently at night everything is lit up, hence the Glowing in the name. And about the only animal NOT on display was the raccoon...

First, I love Redding. It was our first visit. The area has many outdoor activities to participate in. Sundial Bridge was a nice, leisurely evening walk across the water. Luckily, we were there as it was all beautifully lit.

Wow, this place is so beautiful... My first time in Redding, CA! I'm here for bussiness and had plenty of free time to explore, Sundial Bridge was recommended by Locals as a must see attraction while in Redding. I must say, it was a breath taking view of the sunset in the background of the Sacramento River from the bridge. The trails were awsome and had closer access to the river for more perfect views for pictures!! I highly recommend this place. Also lots of things to do around the area!! Just a reminder though, Please becareful when going close to the river! Lots of loose dirt and rocks, and the river flows pretty fast. So, please use caution when bringing strollers or pets close to water! Enjoy the beautiful views but be careful please.

Edited: Nice place for kids to learn new things and explore...Some things didn't seem correctly priced ... $3 for a stick to attract the butterflies... I saw better butterflies outside in the wild! We barely saw 10 simple butterflies that day... maybe it was the heat, it was 110°... Other people's reviews and pictures are 100x nicer than our experience. While it was so warm kids didn't want to play in the park. I'm sure they would have loved it if the heat wasn't as scorching.The parrots seemed more worth the money... it was $2 for a nectar cup and parrots came straight to you when you get those cups.The Tutankhamun exhibition was nice... it was scary for the little one though (3 year old, got scared of the animal figures) but the teenager loved it all.

This experience was amazing. There are so many things to do included in the admission fee. Our favorites were the dinosaur exhibit, butterfly house, and the bird house. Aside from the favorites everything else was great also. Something fun is that most of the exhibits have things for kids to touch. Hands on learning is when my daughter has the most fun so I appreciated this experience.

Very cool museum. Fun for both kids and adults. The outdoor playgrounds were so creative and a blast for my kiddos. Feeding the birds was my favorite part!

Took the Family to Turtle Bay Museum for the tree house exhibit. It was so much fun and so many activities to do. My kiddo made a binary bracelet with his initials, chalk art, dressed up in scientist and engineers clothing and got to play in the tree house. The marine exhibit and art gallery exhibit was amazing to view. Our favorite activity is to vote for what to see for future displays. After, we like to go walking to the nursery.

An excellent spot for families, ideally children.The inside of the museum is focused on local history, such as the Wintu, Redding in the 20's, local biodiversity, etc.There's a dedicated hands-on section in the back that's good for young kids.The backside of the museum is the actual park and quite expansive. There's a sizeable playground for families and an area to interact with exotic and local birds.Further down is a trail that extends for a mile or so and you can check out small caged areas for hawks or the bobcat.Definitely an easy way to spend 90 minutes to get an idea of the area.It's also common to find stray cats nearby as the locals pointed out that there's a gentleman who tends to them.

Took family on the $2 day entrance...TRAINS. Seven of us!!Loved seeing the animals....even the squirrels were very friendly.Lots of stuff for us all to enjoy inside and out. Kind staff.

We stopped here as a pitstop on a road trip. Mainly we went to see the parrot house, and we weren't disappointed! Within a few minutes a parrot landed on my son's head... Which was adorable and left him very happy. The play structure and water play area was entertaining as well! Really cool place to take a walk/bike ride over the bridge!

Calling this lovely place a park is an understatement. It is more like an amusement park: a zoo, a museum, several hiking trails, a botanic garden (closed) as well as adventure-style playgrounds. A great place to learn and play with kids. This place is full of love and support from the community.

Living in Redding, I don't know why I never go here. It's super cool! I didn't even know they had all the animals and everything! I'm actually glad we got an annual membership because I want to go back and see some of the things we went through kind of quickly.

I let my assumption of it using the word turtle…that I would see more then 2.Is this a cool thing to do with kids, yes.Should you spend 4 hours here for your moneys worth, yes.The cost is around the same amount I would pay for a zoo with 2x the animals. So I do think the price is a bit stiff.The building itself didn’t have much animal wise to see. Thus assuming that’s the museum part? But it’s called Exploration park? Which the park (play grounds) is attached to the museum an only accessible via museum tickets. So it shouldn’t show up as a separate google maps pin an parents assume it’s just a park to go to.That being said. The staff were all wonderful.The animal show was cool. We loved that they walked the animals close by. Highly recommend if your child can sit for 35 mins an not move nor eat.Bathrooms, ✔️There are two play areas an unfortunately people do not know how to read signs. There was a family with larger teens throwing water bottles an jumping in the toddler baby section with their parents. Leaving the area unfortunately unsafe to let the little kids explore safety. There needs to either be a larger more obvious sign or a staff member.The parrot feeding was super cool. Respect the staff an what they say. If you know your kids can’t handle direction don’t set them up for failure an walk them inside.The map they give makes it seem like it’s massive an large when it’s really small an the font is hard to read. We missed tons due to time an unsure of where to go.

Turtle Bay Exploration Park left me thoroughly impressed with the unique blend of outdoor exploration and educational opportunities it provides.The park's picturesque setting along the Sacramento River offers a peaceful escape into nature. The walking trails are well-maintained, providing a serene environment to appreciate the local flora and fauna.

My husband and I visited the park for the first time on May 29th. We really enjoyed the park. We started at the museum and then hit the gift shop. Both the employees working that morning were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were very clean. We then crossed over the Sundial Bridge to explore the rest of the park. We visited the animals living outside and we really liked their location in the trees and shade and their enclosures/habitats looked very well attended to. We next visited the Butterfly Garden and really enjoyed that. The highlight of our visit was definitely the Parrot 🦜 Playhouse where we were so warmly greeted by Ashley. Ashley was so awesome - so friendly and very knowledgeable. I purchased a nectar cup (way worth the $2) and immediately 3 parrots came and landed on my arm! Pluto, the hierarchical male, enjoyed the whole cup! I was a little dismayed that he wouldn’t share, but Ashley explained everything. 😁 Even after all the nectar was gone, Pluto stayed on my arm and kept making all these wonderful noises. My husband got it all on video too. So BIG KUDOS to Ashley for enriching our experience. This is a great place for kids and adults too! Highly recommend!

Playground features closed lazy mean ladies run playground with an iron fist but won't have the fun features repaired. What a pathetic museum and playground.

Me & my family had a nice time here. We got to catch the animal show, which was really cute! The butterfly exhibit had a good amount of different healthy butterflies. They have a nice kids playground. My daughter really enjoyed the Zipline 🙂 We didn't get to see the gardens (it was hot🥵) but we'll definitely check it out next time!

Pretty cool to check out the Sundial Bridge (acts as an actual sundial). Would've checked out the botanic garden if the weather was cooler.Using our ASTC reciprocal membership, we checked out the science/history museum which had a Parrot aviary where you can feed various colorful lorikeets. It was 117 degrees that day so we were trying to beat the heat and some of the lorikeets laid on their sides against the rocks as they were trying to cool down. Thankfully they can fly into a room with AC and there was plenty of water and shade for them. There was an outdoor playground including water table for kids and a small zoo outside. The museum itself is much smaller than others we've been to, but I liked their interactive exhibits including their current Dino exhibit. I loveeee this place ❤️. I used to go all the time as a kid. I haven't been in around 5 years, so I decided to go today. It was the best decision ever they have all sorts of animals, and the year-long membership is affordable. They had amazing exhibits. A whole bunch of stuff for kids to have fun. I went in the morning on a weekday, so they were really empty, but on the weekends, they are really super busy. I hear so be warned ⚠️ lol.i am totally going agian . The best part were the service staff they are all super nice and there for you 😀 😌🥪

You definitely want to give yourself enough time to look through the museum and the store because it's filled with so many amazing rocks and fossils. The dark room in the museum section is so cool. My parents have purchased quite a few pieces of jewelry from Gaumers, and it's all beautiful. Seeing the store in person was really a treat. The jewelry is beautiful and reasonably priced. The women who worked there were friendly and attentive as well. I love this shop. Museum quality displays are everywhere you look. And the folks who work here are invariably courteous and helpful. Gaumer's has what you are looking for - whatever your interest in stones, fossils, minerals, mining, jewelry and more. There is a book section with trail guides and "how to" books, as well as a small collection of old (some out of print) books and reference materials that you can browse through to find just what you are looking. Some of the rarer stones seem a little pricey until you start comparing...Even if you just want to look around at pretty rocks and fossils you definitely need to add Gaumer's to your itinerary. This place has EVERYTHING you could want when it comes to rocks, gems and jewelry. You will never find the beautiful hand crafted jewelry you find here at any big jewelry dealer. Everything is reasonably priced and ranges from under $10 to thousands of dollars. They have so many unique items to choose from! Wow!!! I was absolutely lied to!!! I drove by and saw the store and figured I’d stop by and see if they can help with my watch. I handed my watch to the lady and she took it to the back room and was finagling with it. She came back and said she couldn’t get it open but figured out how to get it ticking. Great! Upon inspection, I noticed a very deep scratch on the back. She immediately got defensive and said “the scratch was already there!” And I thought that was weird, but said thank you and left. It wasn’t until I got home that I remembered I took a video of the watch upon opening the box (before I went to their store) because I was so excited and compared my now very scratch watch to the pictures. The SCRATCH WAS NOT THERE. The lady totally lied to me and caused DAMAGE to my 14k gold watch! What in the world??

I've been coming here for the last 9 years and I highly recommend the staff and service our top notch. I'm 30 now but since I was 12 I remember coming in to see the beautiful artwork and the magnificent gems and minerals and i cant forget the awesome museum layout they have to offer. I was told this was an awesome place to check out so thought a nice drive down would be fun. They have their hours posted online as open but when I drove almost an hour here they are closed. You'd think that being the most popular rock shop in Northern California would be better than that. I think I'll just order my stuff on Amazon then than try to navigate their inconsistent hours.

Classy family owned jewelry store featuring one of a kind custom designed pieces. The family travels the world to collect stones and gems that can be purchased in the rough or cut and polished. The small mining museum is very well done and admission is free. This is a great location for kids to learn about mining, minerals and gems. The black light room is awesome and they have geodes that can be cut open on site. Take a picture in front of the giant geode "angel wings" There is a good selection of stones/mineral samples for just a few dollars that even fit kids budgets.

So many beautiful examples... if the rating was based just on their exhibits they would definitely be a 5 out 5.. now having said that my cousin and I have recently gotten into gold mining "rocking" putting tons of time & money into our operations. we are at the pt where we need to collect or stop. we recently went to Gaumer's Jewelry store (highly recommend in our social cir.)and yes the associate did look at a large number of specimens for us.... but no luck ! supposedly he(my cousin's & his rocks only-this time) hadn't picked anything with gold in or around it lol! needless to say He was crushed! He went to the next exit up and opened the tailgate and dumped ALL his rocks out onto the ground!!!I of course am more optimistic and reclaimed a couple I truly believed had gold in them. When I got home & a friend of mine brought over the metal detector low and behold that machine went off like crazy! A Fix - they should have an associate that is just for checking rocks that customers have... and have time to help guide them to what it is that is needed. THIS STORE COMES HIGHLY RECOMMEND BY MY PEERS & though we don't have a ton of money to spend on classes at the college Gaumer's would benefit from helping these folks as they would get top dollar for any gold that is brought through their door Right?? thanks All

Riding my bike through Bidwell Park is heavenly.

It made me want to move there! And we were just at one spot of the 11 mile journey!! Loved it.people were way nicer than in my hometown.much love and respect for the area!!

Such a beautiful park with tons of shaded areas and space for the family. During the summer they have lifeguards. There is a snack bar, restrooms for you to rinse off, a nice creek next to the pool and a toddler area (water is very low for kiddos to enjoy 🥰). Plenty of picnic tables and you have a park next to it plus plenty of hiking and paved trails

It's a beautiful day today and as the sun is beginning it's slow descent the bright and warm colors of summer, the sound of the creek rushing by me...it just feels like home. I would not want to live anywhere else on Earth but Chico, right her and right now...

A bit busy with kids, but such a nice area to picnic or lay in the grass and read a good book. Really happy I decided to venture out there today & I will definitely be heading back tomorrow for round 2!

We had a blast doing the Still the One tour. The group was relatively smaller and led by a knowledgeable tour guide. We received a few beers on the tour, got an inside look at the rest of the brewery, and learned a lot! Our favorite part was drinking straight out of the tap with fresh beer only brewed about 3 days ago. We’ve done the local tour here but this is definitely worth the $25 walking away with a crowler, goodie bag, and a ride on the Time Machine!

I had a delicious lunch at their restaurant then took the brewery tour. We had Emily guide us through the brewery which started with a beer sample and she was very knowledgeable. The 45 min tour ends with beer also. I highly recommend this tour and lunch.5 stars

Amazing free tour and great samples. Their Beer Geek tour is even better. On that tour, they take you into the real depths of the brewery and let you sample small batch beer right from the fermenter. They even give you a special Beer Geek growler and tshirt at the end. It takes around 3 hours and costs $50.

My favorite place to go in Chico but menu changes are not great. Sierra salad was my go-to and now they have a $14 balsamic salad with whole cherry tomatoes covered in dressing that you couldn't eat because they were slippery. At least cut the tomatoes in half so they can be stabbed with a fork. Candied almonds not as good as candied pecans and a TON of bleu cheese. For $14 you get spring mix, grated carrots, slippery tomatoes, and a glob of bleu cheese. No bread and balsamic anymore which would have saved the day. Please I implore you to reconsider your menu!! This is my third time back and maybe last (for food) since reopening and I’ve been so disappointed. The service and wonderful people that they hire are the godsend.

I was my 41st birthday and we were the only 2 on the tour and were able to see different hops and the start to finish brewing process I would recommend to everyone to take the tour well worth it

Bidwell Mansion State Historic ParkWhile passing through Chico we decided to make a stop at the Bidwell State Historic Park.It was easy to find the park with plenty of parking but do to covid it was closed so we walked around the home and grounds. It’s a very pretty Victorian House and grounds.

Beautiful historic mansion built by John Bidwell, one of the founding fathers of California. Tours and gift shop are decently priced. You can tour the grounds for free as well. Great for family and all ages!

A classic 19th century mansion built by a local robber baron. This pleasant town stretched for this to be its premier tourist site. A big yawn.

Lots of great California history inside! Mr. Bidwell played a big part in building California and the city of Chico. The mansion is full of lots of fun artifacts, and is very well kept I highly suggest taking a tour.

Much better than I expected. Also, make sure you make reservations in advance! They were booked up when we went, but Murphy was kind enough to squeeze us in anyway. Murphy was fantastic! So much knowledge, and personal experience growing up here and watching the renovations progress. I can't think of anywhere else that you can get that much for $6!

Beautiful park and lovely mansion tour. Very educational and affordable. More suited for children 12 and up. It’s quite a long tour. Be prepared to stand for long periods of time and climb stairs.

Really great selection of olive oils and vinaigrettes! We really appreciate the recommendation of the woman who helped us when we arrived - lemon olive oil, who knew that was a thing! Finding it was a little confusing, you have to walk along the right side of the building, go through the first door you come to, and the store is through the warehouse.

Best pickled asparagus I have ever had is sold here!!!!! Will be making a trip next week to stock up on it....

The building is the warehouse and not inviting at all. The tasting room is not fancy and just one small room. That being said, we loved the man (dang it forgot his name) who sold us on almost everything available. The oils were so good and the infused garlic amazing. We also bought fruit balsamic vinegar. We were so happy we were brave and called to inquire.

Had a great time during an unannounced visit, with the owner Ray. Has many delicious oils, olives and marinated garlic cloves available. Worth the time.

I Love my olives I ordered from Olive Pit. First time I bought olives from here my husband and I stopped in on our way back to Portland. We were impressed, so if we ever drive to California from our home in Oregon we make sure we stop, but sometimes you are not open, or you can’t wait for someone to be traveling in that direction, you can always order online. The shipping is fast and reasonable as well.

They seem to have quite the selection of a lot of things (wine, pasta, spices, olives, some beer, dried fruit and candy)in this place which is super cool but what stood out to me the most is the selection of local honey! I bought some wild flower honey, it's delicious. I will be going back to get more things🤌They do have a little restaurant on the other side of the store, food was okay. My wife and I love this place. Whenever driving up north or down south we try to arrange a visit to Olive Pit. The store is always clean. Staff is always friendly. The tasting area really helps us to know what we want. All food items are high quality and worth the visit.

I visited on the recommendation of a friend. I ordered the fig balsamic vinegar shake. Wow, it was good! I also got a BLT sandwich, and it was loaded with goodies. Plus, they offer a side bar to add extra fixings to your food - so I added a few pickles, more lettuce ( I love extra lettuce), olives, and tomatoes. Definitely a great sandwich and shake.

This was my first time going to the Olive Pit and I must say I was beyond impressed one of the most unique stores that carries numerous variety of olives, various hot sauces, balsamic dressings,seasonings,wines etc.. by far one of the largest selection of olives I have ever seen and I seen quite a few as I've traveled throughout America. This olive emporium just off of interstate 5 is definitely a stop worth taking! A store packed with a multitude of olives - including a tasting station - the place also has oils, balsamic vinegars, wine, honey, hot sauces, and gift items to list a few. They also have a cafe, which I checked out - just because. In spite of an intriguing assortment of sandwiches, including a bacon jam burger and a muffuletta, I chose the regular hamburger. Their side choices were bagged chips. As I went to the side to wait for my food, I saw that the "kitchen" was nothing more than a snack bar with machines - no grill or stove. This made me immediately question whether my choice of eateries might be questionable. I must say, though, I was impressed! Though far from the best burger I have ever had, it was very tasty and had all kinds of pluses. It was on a warm toasted brioche bun. The condiment bar included things like tapenade and olives, as well as the old standards. All in all, a satisfactory meal and a stop I highly recommend on any trip on I-5!

Loved their sandwich. I loved that I could sample a few products first which I ended up buying three of them. It's my favorite casino on the western half of the US. Plenty of restaurant options, all of which are great. Customer service is always great. Drinks aren't horribly expensive. The win / loss ratio is very good. Rooms are great ( north tower ). Overall, must stop if traveling I5.

Attended a private party at Rock n brew in the back room. Great space. The wait staff was wonderful. The bartender was great when we asked for big beers with olives. I highly recommend the restaurant.We were here on a Saturday night, and they had a great DJ at the main bar on the casino floor. I danced and had a wonderful time.Later in the night, however, my husband did not have a good experience. Someone bumped him at the bar and spilled a bit of his drink on the floor. After setting the drinks down, he saw a staff member with a rag wiping the bar. He touched his elbow so as not to startle him by coming up behind him. He told the guy about the spill to be helpful so no one would slip and get hurt. The staff member instead yells at my husband not to touch him and walks away. The bartender who witnessed this apologized and asked if he wanted to speak to the supervisor. He did, and after waiting a long time for him to show up, he explained the situation and showed him the spill. The supervisors response was to tell my husband not to touch his employees. My husband was dumbstruck. The supervisor walked away. Patrons sitting nearby asked if my husband was okay because he was just standing there wondering what the heck he did wrong. They stated that they watched the whole thing and he didn't do anything to deserve to be treated like that. And guess what? No one ever cleaned up the spill.

So. This review is most for the Amphitheater and their security for the great white/ slaughter concert.. security was a joke!! Wouldn't let the paying customers sit under the cool down misters to actually cool down. But instead kept kicking them away from them, and just walked under them as their own way of power or some sh×t!! My family and i have had many great concerts there, but after this horrible experience, and especially in an extreme heat wave that we had. Unfortunately, we will not be going back! Ever!

Talk about a 5star experience. This place actually FEELS like a Vegas casino now since the remodel and update. Every employee I have come into contact with seems to have costumer satisfaction as their #1top priority. .... And the concert venue?!!??!!! Absolutely LOVE it. This was the first time I have been here since they made it bigger, and it really is a very nice casino! I won, a few hundred here. It's always been a nice casino, but now it's really awesome!! So big! They did a very nice job with the expansion!

Main entertainment attraction in the area I visited. Newer slot machines, video craps and roulette, 5 active card tables (last time visiting at around 11pm), multiple eateries inside and live entertainment (as scheduled). Can't be mad at the location, turned out positive on my visit. For a not so frequent gambler definitely makes me want to come back for another opportunity!

We love stopping on our way to and from Oregon to drop a dime or to eat. We ate at Fatburger this time around and must say the burgers and skinny fries are outstanding!!!!! So yummy, I wanted more.

I spent most of my time at the center bar, and it was lovely. Awesome people in there, I went alone and it was my first time ever drinking outside the house, and it was still very enjoyable. Would recommend the Scooby Snax as a cocktail, and the Pineapple Upside-down Cake🍹🍸

Great place to visit food was delicious and the service was great people took the time to make sure you were having a great time and they have a non-smoking side if that part is a problem for you

Rolling Hills would be the best casino in California's northstate IF they had a poker room.. I understand Poker doesn't bring in a large sum of money but it would bring in many people who would hit the main floor before or after playing a tournament. Overall great atmosphere (they aggressively clean the air so it's not too smoky) lots of slots, I think 3 bars in total so drinks are never far away. Fast dining options plus a sit down steakhouse that is sound proofed from the noises of the floor. I greatly enjoy Rolling Hills and It would be my #1 place to gamble IF that poker room existed.

A nice spot to rest when you travel north, a lot of slot machines, RV parking and you can bring your horses here, friendly and the food is very good, they also have concerts and shows, if you are lucky you can witness the wild turkeys love dance 🦃 around the area.

Had a bunch at the Rock n Roll cafe. I was absolutely impressed with the sandwiches and the service. Lisa, our server, was a delight! Funny, welcoming, eager to please and so pleasant. She made the visit so pleasant that we'd go back just to see her. The sandwiches were outstanding as well. Try it!

Casino is great. Rooms are really nice. Not happy that housekeeping knocked on our door at 7:20am. We said hello and they immediately tried to open the door before we could even get out of bed. Luckily we had the security latch engaged or they would have walked in on us.

Plenty of truck parking, good food, great service. What more do you want.

My only complaint is that my hotel room was not connected to the casino. I had to exit and cross the parking lot. Besides that the staff is great, dealers are happy (it seems)

A good sized modern Native American California Casino that's well lit, unlike many other versions that I have seen. It has many different slot machines available, for the gambling type, so you'll have a chance to pick your poison, so to speak. Additionally, they have a few different food options that are priced similar to other non-casino restaurants. Additionally, they offer a gas and diesel filling station on the South side of their property that has about 8 pumps, so it can get crowded fast. The good news is the fuel cost is usually a little less than other gas stations near by.

So I will say this…… and this is just my humble opinion. As a Truck Driver I go all across the country and I play a little blackjack or Texas hold them in various casinos across the United States. Some people may disagree with what I’m about to say….. ROLLING HILLS CASINO IS BY FAR THE WORST CASINO I’VE EVER BEEN TO.THE DEALERS COULD ABSOLUTELY CARE LESS AND IT SHOWS. AESTHETICALLY IT’S A BEAUTIFUL CASINO AND THE TRUCK PARKING IS AMAZING BUT YOU CANNOT GAMBLE AT THIS CASINO. YOU ABSOLUTELY…..CANNOT GAMBLE AT THIS CASINO.It’s a little known secret that this casino is just a money grab for whoever owns it. I’m not saying this because I’m disgruntled because I’m not maybe disappointed yes but just being honest I can never frequent this establishment for food or games again.They will reply with something stupid like …… we are sorry that you feel this way or can you explain why you gave this review but they were already know the answer. It’s nobody’s fault but my own. I have no one to blame, but I could say that this shall never happen again. It is what it is.

Rolling Hills Casino truly is the friendliest casino, just like they advertise on their billboards along the 5 freeway. 10/10 would recommend, the staff always delivers top-notch customer service every time we visit. All the employees are great but a few of my personal favorites that I feel should be acknowledged are Josh and Justin at the bar with all the whiskey. They both make a mean old-fashioned and at the front of the house, the best casino host award goes to Michael Gonsalez, he is always attentive and greets both my husband and me, with a great smile. We have been to the concert area and the comedy show, needless to say, we had the best time each time. My husband also played at the golf course and took some friends over, they loved it. We really enjoyed our stay. Our check-in, with Gerry, was a positive experience. He recommended some great menu choices at the restaurant in the casino, and he had a great demeanour!!The rooms are clean. The beds are comfy and the rooms are quiet and have a fridge and microwave.We played some slots in the casino and had a wonderful dinner at the rock and brew restaurant.The only negative was the lack of parking around the south tower, and the grouchy front desk girl, at the travel center in the morning.We would definitely be back and highly recommend this Resort.

We stopped by on the way to No. Cali. and on our way back home to get gas for our Motorhome! Great price for diesel! We also went in and got a burger at Fatburger! Excellent!!! When we travel North, we’ll be stopping by again!

Update: Oct 2022 - The new restaurant Six two Eight is beautifully decorated and is a great relaxing place for a meal. We enjoyed nice breakfast yesterday.Great place to stop for gaming, meals and fuel. The place is extremely clean and safe with security everywhere. This is always a must stop for us and we highly recommend this organization.

I recommend this place! Especially if you are travelling northbound, it's a perfect stop to relax at! Great Casino & amazingly beautiful, clean, new hotel!! At under $100 per night you can't beat the value! They have a nice handful of 'fair' tables and plenty of slots... Excellent food, never overcrowded anywhere in here. Pretty large casino with lots of slots. They offer a free play when you sign up. Didn’t really like how they don’t have a split smoking and non smoking section but everything else was pretty decent.

This is a review for the amphitheater only:Extremely impressed! I go to around 25-30 shows a year and have been to literally 100s of venues. I know this is the first year of operation for this amphitheater and I know there is some kinks they'll work out. However overall it was VERY well done.The sound system here is obviously brand new, and is very high end. It sounds incredible for the size of this venue, and the owners did not skimp on building it.The security staff was impeccable! They did a amazing job of keeping people out of the isle and from standing at the gates in front of crowd blocking paying front row ticket holders views( this is a major issue at many places) they staff was friendly and did a good job of discerning between people blatantly breaking rules and people respectfully have a good time.The only issue here is parking and traffic control.The parking could potentially be fine with some or ANY parking control people on staff. There was literally not a single person directing traffic in or out. The did not close lanes or make one way traffic to flow the crowd out or in. People were moving and breaking barricades and blocking others. The walk from the rear parking lot is over 1/4 mile from the entrance and dirt.

It was so good, especially for my first experience, for a 30th birthday fun.Definitely going back to get a feel for the other escape room themes.I enjoyed it so much.And the people running the place are so professional and awesome.

My daughter and I had a great experience with the Fox Tail Saloon Escape Room! It was a really fun challenge and I was so impressed with how everything was set up. It was so much better than I thought it would be.Amazing customer service too! They were very helpful and promptly answered my many questions beforehand! Before and during the challenge, the host was very friendly and helped build our excitement about the challenges!How awesome to have such a great experience available right here in Yuba City. We’ll definitely be back!

I've always wanted to experience an escape room and with this being my 1st time I wasn't disappointed. The owner was awesome and the experience was awesome. The rooms were great and had many different puzzles. We had a group of ten and everyone played a part. The only thing I would have changed is maybe only had 6 or 8 in my party. At times I found my self bumping into people trying to move about which is not due to the size of the rooms but people in our group standing in the path ways. I highly recommend NorCal Escape Co. We all had a blast.

Our group had such a blast! I’ve done escape rooms in the past and this experience exceeded expectations by far! We did Condemned 2 and all of the rooms/puzzles were so well thought out and challenging. Customer service and communication were amazing and we wish we lived in the area so we could do the rest of the rooms!

This is our fourth unique "escape room" destination and this has to be one of our favorites so far. We will definitely be back. Driving into the place - it's a tiny bit disconcerting, but stay strong because this place is worth it. Not only a fantastic room (we did the Fox Tail Saloon) to challenge us, we had the BEST customer service. Your "clue master" was over and beyond amazing NCEC! She was amazing, charming, and the perfect dash of comedy and sass. Loved it. The entire point of all of us, well for our family was to have fun - and with a live person on-site it added an unexpected fun element different from our past escape rooms that I thoroughly enjoyed. NorCal Escape company also offers an "escape truck" to come to you - which sounded very cool. And I highly recommend this for company or team bonding - it's fascinating to see how people react to different types of problem solving and being under a time-constraint. Take the trek to Yuba City - you will LOVE it! ALSO a stupid side note - the BEST intro video to start your escape room (so dang funny - great work).

Condemned 2 is fantastic! Our group had 2 people with 40+ games and 5 with 1-5 rooms under our belts. All of us loved the puzzles and the game room design in Condemned. The puzzles are absolutely unique but they also make sense. We had a great time and Jamie was a fantastic host and explained the room and any questions we had afterwards. Definitely 5+ star experience!

We had a group of 4 people, one adult and 3 teens. The saloon room was very challenging for the kids. With a little more guidance they could have solved it on their own. Being thorough and communication with your group is a must. Dress appropriately! Jeans and sneakers are your best bet, don't wear flip flops.

Loved it! Friendly staff and great attention to details. If your looking for a challenging group activity try this place. Recommended for ages 13+. Tried this for my sons bday (we had previously done a mini version at the Christmas stroll) and it proved a bit difficult for us. You MUST work as a team. There are clues hidden everywhere. Look, look and then look again! We had a great experience overall and would highly recommend it to anyone.

We did the Billy the Kid room and it was a lot of fun. It's more of a treasure hunt than an escape room. We had 2 kids with us, 10 and 14 years old. It wasn't too hard but wasn't overly easy.

Hands down, 110% fun! From start to finish the whole escape room experience is one for the record books. My family of 3 took on the Escape Truck (4 of 5) level and almost won. The owner Jamie really gets into making your experience special from the moment you walk in. The game itself was challenging but surprisingly fun to work through. Awesome detour on a trip by. We saw deer, jack rabbits, turkeys and a plethora of song birds, frogs and other beasties. Definitely worth the stop, well actually it's a long drive with a few stops as the park is set up to drive through it like a safari in your own car. P

We love coming here and doing the car loop. Great place to view multiple different species of birds. Plenty of clean bathrooms and places to stretch your legs. New visitor center. Bought the annual pass.

We were able see thousands of geese. There were many "squadrons" of several hundred taking off to visit local fields.Come late afternoon.

Amazing spot to see water birds, tricolor blackbirds in large quantities. Peaceful, serene spot to view nature. No walking around but excellent road with opportunities to pull off.

My brothers and I visited here on June 27 and really enjoyed the 6-mile auto tour. We had the park all to ourselves, so we felt almost if we had traveled back in time (minus the road, of course) to when only Native Americans lived here. It was extremely quiet since it's Summertime and most of the birds are not here at this time of year. We did get to see a beautiful deer, turkey vultures, jack rabbits, and a number of birds in the lake (?) at the viewing platform 1/2 way through the auto tour. We enjoyed our visit so much that we are planning to come back in the late Fall or Winter to see the migratory birds. We also got lucky for the timing of our visit because the brand-new visitor center had just opened. The ranger there was very friendly and knowledgeable. BTW - currently the visitor center is only open on Thursday and Friday between 9am and 4pm and the gift shop is not yet open. You'll want to check before you go to see if the hours have changed.

We took a day trip to the Colusa area to see the migrating waterfowl and birds of all kinds. Birds as far as your eyes can see in some places. There’s 5 preserves in the area. Most you can hike and/or drive through. Nice areas to view the wildlife. Beautiful!

I've gotten some very good photos out here, but the last two years have been sketchy. They built one of the nicest bird viewing platforms in No. Calif., and then pointed it towards an area with no birds. Maybe they could move it to where the birds are located? I call the office there and no one ever answers or returns calls. Several other smaller refuges from Colusa to Llano Seco are much better now.

Beautiful area to visit in the winter. Home to a wide variety of migratory birds and other wildlife. We were lucky to see river otters and a badger. We also got to see a bald eagle which was pretty amazing. The auto tour is the highlight. The visitor center was closed and being repaired. The trail close to the visitor center was a nice walk but we did not see many birds or other wildlife on the walk.

Love this place and the many opportunities to see wildlife. The auto tour does provide alot to see and plenty of places to stop and stretch your legs. I enjoy it all year long but am looking forward to having the visitor center open again. ❤

Google map directions took us to a parking lot full of trucks with men in camouflage jackets carting around dead birds. This is no refuge. Ruined my entire day when I thought from photographs I’d be in a safe and protected wild bird area. So disgusting.

Great spot for birding. The auto tour has plenty of spots to pull over and get the binoculars out. I love that they allow on leash dogs, my pup had fun sniffing everything on the trails.

Really like this place. They have a 6 mile driving loop and probably 8miles of trails. No dogs or jogging permitted. Always see different birds depending on the time of the year we go. If you are a birder, this place is a 'must-see'.

Usually in late Nov and Dec, this is a great place to see hundreds of thousands of migrating birds. However because it's been warmer up north this year, the majority of birds haven't migrated yet.

It's really slow . changed a disabled blind. no more mobility impaired pond that allows you to travel anywhere in the pond . Not verry many birds yet.

Wish it was located closer to me, but the travel is worth it at times. People greet/open door for you are always kind and welcoming. It's always clean..especially the bathrooms which is a relief compared to the other casinos. The employees at the cage are always kind And helpful. Great place to be.

Beautiful place. Are at Jack's Place. Very good food. Prices were reasonable. Plenty of slots. They even have actual penny slots that the minimum is a penny. I love that. If the security wasn't so rude to my husband out in the parking lot where he was sitting in our car getting some fresh air an on his phone waiting for me I would of given 5 stars.

The customer service has really gone down since the start of covid, on the casino floor and the restaurant lots of employees in the restaurant and floor but not service foo customer. In the restaurant they don't take pride in quest service. Literally there will by 5 people that will all look at you and not even Greet you and keep going about the their business. As a former CS Manager, someone should always say hello and that someone will be right with you. I just went to Jacks for a date night last week and ordered the Ramon noodle bowl, The prices had really gone up plus they charged a $9 upcharge for chicken. When my meal arrived it literally had 2 bites of chicken so at almost $25 buck combined I sent it back. The manager came to do PR work and basically held his ground on everything being weighed. No attempt to listen just to bark back. He did ask if I wanted to order anything else. After waiting so long I kindly said no thanks so needless to say no dinner on date night. We really miss the old environment with the hospitality and the buffet

Love this little gem it has just enough of everything. The staff friendly and they come an talk to you like family. They had smiles on their faces. It's nice and clean. The food is great we always get a their personal pizza to share and I love the fish and chips.

I love this casino! I’ve had decent luck here consistently and the food is super delicious! The architecture is unique and beautiful. They have a ton of slots from old ones to brand new games! I definitely recommend this place if you’re anywhere near!!

Love Colusa Casino!! We go several times a month. And have stayed overnight on special occasions several times.. Very very nice accommodations. Comfy bed. Great showers. We go to Jack's Place to eat. Everything we've had was delicious 😋 We often get lucky when we play the slots 😉

Great staff. Clean cozy rooms. Fun casino floor. Love the casino club rewards. Definitely recommend if looking for a short getaway. Although a microwave would be nice in the rooms. I have no other complaints.

The room was so bad I requested a new room.There was hair in the bathtub, and on toilet, sticky tables, the bathroom floor was sticky on my shoes.Very unhappy with the cleaning.The new room I was put in was slightly better.

This was a lovely room at the Casino. I’m a bit confused about the “Resort” name. There was no pool, gym, spa services etc. Maybe it’s in the future plans?? We had a players card so our room was only $39. Nice.

OK. Let me tell you that I was so disappointed that the girl at the front desk does not have good customer service skills. Please let her know that she is the 1st person of contact and represents the restaurant. We are indigenous people. We want to have eating lunch a nice pleasant experience for something so sacred. Please guide this young lady in her 49er jersey so she does not continue to fail in life.

Casino is a little small but still nice. Bartender picks and chooses who he serves to when there is big crowds we got sniped 4 times me and a friend watched how he did it after us complaining to him it was unfair he told his “boss” we cussed him out when we never did only questioned why we were skipped. We tip good so not sure what his problem was. Feel casino callus make it a little easier to get a drink. When we got our first drink it took 40 mins

This is one out of 3 casinos I frequent and they're rated #1 in my book! The staff is amazing. So friendly and accommodating. Although Colusa casino is the farthest away from where I live I will be frequenting them a lot more.

Stayed over night in our 40ft Motorhome in the back lot where they allow campers overnight. Very nice, clean, convenient store is right next door, they have a very nice dog park with a water fountain for dogs. Plus they have a free dump station and free water fill station. We played a little and ate at the Branded Butcher which was nice. I highly recommend staying here if you a place to stay over night or just passing through. Oh and they have a free shuttle from the back lot to take you to the casino!

Smaller casino with a well-done country rustic theme. Lots of different game types to gamble on. However I've never seen anyone really win a decent amount unless playing with very large bets. If you're willing to spend that kind of money, your chances are pretty good but I wouldn't recommend stopping through for a quick visit with little money.

I love this casino! It's kind of tucked away, but not difficult to get to. At this time they allow RVs and travel trailers to stay for free. The gas station next door has a free dump station and potable water. It also has a small dog park (not fenced).They offer great incentive to new members. Their milkshakes are awesome! The staff is super-friendly and helpful. The facility is clean. They have a decent app. This has been one of my favorite casinos to visit. I grew up in Reno, NV and travel full time. I dig the vibes here.

Nice Casino, pretty good selection of machines. The layout is functional, and it's pretty easy to get to. The dinner house is pretty pricey though. I would recommend giving it a try. It definitely is one of the casinos I would go again to.

Haven't been there much recently. But no comps for me. Machines not paying much. Was disappointed and lost more than I expected and was disappointed. Many machines had some buttons not working. Sound not working . No fun. Just a waste of hard earned money.

Great Casino. They have a station where you can pour your own soda and water. Nice variety of slots. I would win some and lose some. Nice Freeplay for 1st time visitors when you get a players card. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only warning I have is, when you travel through the cute little town before the casino make sure you go the speed limit. Saw cars pulled over coming and going.

Good for the retired peeps, maybe 60 and older. Does not have an exciting and fun ambiance. It's small and very low key. Don't think I will make another trip out there. Maybe when I'm older.

On April/27/2024 me and a guest had free rooms so we used them they put a 150 dollar hold on my card witch was fine but upon leaving they charged my card 167.70 witch I called and they try saying the my dog chewed up the bed and that I had flipped the bed over when we had left the room the bed was fine the bed was not even used they said they did a inspection of the room and found were my dog had chewed on the bed my dog dose not chew on anything besides her chew tows and I even asked too see the pics that they said they took at upon they just won’t call me back and will not even talk to me or email me and just except me to eat the cost of something that was not from me I inspected the room before leaving as I always do case I make sure my dog dose not leave any toys behind as well as me leave anything behind I slept in one of the beds on top of the covers on one bed and both beds were fine not damaged at all and I even have a witness too the fact that my dog did not chew on the beds and that the room was left in excellent condition when left nothing wrong with it.

The grounds are clean... The place just smells clean. It's the epitome of what a casino should look like. I do feel like that beauty comes with a cost. It's a very beautiful casino, and it seems busy enough so they could change the winning ratio higher. I was here for 8 hours and I never heard one person to get a hand pay or jackpot bell ringer. That's a long time on Friday night with just giving.The people that work here are so friendly. It makes me not want to complain about the fact that no one was winning. The people is what makes this place a four star. I would come here and just stay in the resort... And not gamble at all. It's really nice.

Believe the 1/5 stars. I’m not sure why there’s four stars for this casino, this casino is the worst I’ve ever been to. I spent one hour with $500 Play minimum to second minimum bets and only got 3 Free games among the machines that I played. I should have known when the locals were playing the machines and shaking their head with disappointment. I don’t mind losing my money but not on tight machines.

A group of us reserved rooms, guaranteed with credit card, through their website for April. This past week the hotel called us and said that our rooms were cancelled due to they needed the rooms for another event. Been traveling for decades and this is a first. She apologized and said there was nothing more she could do. I asked to talk to her manager. I was forwarded to the manager's voice mail. Today, three days later, someone calls (not the manager) and apologizes saying there is nothing she can do and that was the casino decision. Unbelievable...

I live in the Bay Area so finding a close casino is a challenge. Colusa Casino is only 2 1/2 hours away so it’s one of the closest. It’s clean, they offer terrific player club amenities, the staff is always outstanding, and the food at Jack’s is phenomenal.The rooms are fantastic and I really recommend this casino/resort for anytime fun!

Nice casino with hotel. Late 2023 they closed their nicer restaurant. The remaining restaurant, Jack's Place, is a restaurant and bar. Good food and drinks. But, due to staffing, there are very long waiting times of one to two hours even though there are empty tables in the restaurant. Unfortunately, there is no other place to eat. So, be patient, essentially at busy times.

It's a place for the family and friends,a great place to enjoy a whole day!! We had a great time. The casino and all interactions with employees was outstanding. There were plenty of tables and machines. Their Diesel fuel was 40 cents cheaper than Rolling Hills Casino. I did not try their food but will next time. No disappointments herr. I will definitely patronize again.

We stopped by to see if they still had a poker room since we'd driven to Baxter for a gig. No poker room :( Last time I'd been there was on the way back from Fort Bragg, moons ago. My friend, it was his 1st time. I was impressed how well kept up its been, clean, nice! Better than all of Reno and a lot of Vegas. I only interacted with staff at the Starbucks and she earned a tip, well done! I used the kiosk and easily obtained a replacement players card from literally 4 or 5 years ago! Maybe more. My friend, his 1st card and he sported $20 in free play to begin. He thanked me for the suggestion as he turned that into a tidy little profit for the night. They even had a few, very few older low volitity machines. Hard Rock has NONE. I gave back as much as he won, so a wash for the casino. I can't talk about the food but I plan to return and be able to give you an idea of how good or bad it is at that time. I would definitely recommend going and trying them out!

Use to be a lot of fun and I used to get $5.00 or more a week, now I get nothing. They took out all the old machines and all the new machines are 75¢, 88¢, $1.00, or more . The location is great , because it's only 5 min. Away from my house. Also, they use to have lots of fun activities, not so much anymore. Prices went up and not as fun anymore.

The people working here are Awsome! No problem taking care of transactions with a smile, even with the craziest of people! On the other hand, there was an employee of the casino who was behind me in line for fuel. She passed me and took the pump I was waiting for. I told her I was in line before her. She said “Ok I’ll move” then under her breath she said “after I pump my gas”. This is very non respectful of your patrons. Our farm buys A lot of diesel from you. We found Caego on VRBO on a Thursday, it showed that they had a room available Saturday through Monday. The calendar showed the room was available so we decided to book. A few hours later we didn't hear anything, we went to bed, woke up, still nothing.In the afternoon it had been over 12 hours and we hadn't heard anything so I decided to call Ceago directly, nobody answered and there was no voicemail.Then late Friday night, as we were packing for our trip they canceled our reservation out of the blue. They said it was already booked for this weekend and asked us to book another weekend.Incredibly unprofessional, I won't make this mistake twice.

Absolutely love this wine. I used to live in the house that is now The Tasting Room. Hard to see it being a Vineyard as opposed to an orchard that it was before. But having said all that I love this place the patrons are great the wine is good and it is a very very good time.

Check.Mission/concept: Inspiring: Check.So we headed south. When we arrived to their beautiful facility, we were greeted by Marlyna. Little did we know, our lives would all be changed by our arrival. We had a tasting, the regular tasting flight. Each time this beautiful lady poured into our glass, we got the story about its concept. How it got there, and more importantly, what their intention is. All the while, watching the vineyard's sheep. Because you know, they plant a cover crop. Not sure what that means? Just look it up....As the sun set, we decided... It was time to buy some wine and some merch. Our lovely host took Extra care of each group in her bar. When it was our turn, she topped off our tasting glasses with the particular wine we each loved ( mine was the best one, 😉)Needless to say, we felt so inspired to support not only this winery, but this company's mission: thinking outside the box. Seeing the whole picture and making a difference.We finished our taste, cashed out and headed for the door.With sincere gratitude, our lovely host hugged us like we were family, and off we went.We will be back. Next year, and the year after that, and the year after that.We talked all the way home about how grateful we were for our experience at vigilance winery. Moved recently to Lake County. Keep going back to Twin Pines frequently. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The place is clean and comfortable. It's not over packed with machines being too close. There is enough room to be able to move around without feeling like you're navigating an obstacle course. The restaurant has a nice menu. The food has been consistently well prepared. We have eaten there numerous times. Not too pricey by today's standards. For some casino entertainment, I would recommend this place. And the gas station located in their parking lot, seems to have the best gas prices around. BIG PLUS!

Great hotel , have been staying here for almost a month... great people at the front desk, lots of parking.... location is pretty desolate, but if that's what you're into then maybe that's great. The casino itself is pretty small and doesn't really have a lot of options for food , fairly heavy cigarette smoke smell on the gaming floor, but I suppose that's normal for a casino

I always have a great time here,I never had the opportunity to stay the night in the hotel but I can only imagine that if I did it would be awesome. The staff are very professional and friendly, I remember I had allot of change and they were cool about it and helped me out so I could exchange it for bills and got back to the slots. I hear the poker tables are the place to be hopefully one day I'll have enough money in my pocket to experience the action.

Easy to say this casino is my absolute favorite place to stay & play slots! The rooms are beautiful and very clean. It’s a good vibe when you walk in, great food options, and good drinks. The staff are ok, I think maybe a little overworked though. I would like to see more staff and waitstaff that bring drinks to the slot areas.

The staff is top notch, and the facility is very clean throughout. I had the steak medium cooked perfectly but was a bit on the chewy side. Played around 1000 dollars and my best hit was 30x. Didn't see one hand pay and I was on the floor 3 hours. Very tight from my little experience. Parking was easy and it was far from busy on a Thursday. Smaller casino, couldn't be more than a few hundred machines. 1 table of black jack and 3 card going.Room is nice, clean, spacious, and stocked with fridge and microwave. Window let's 100 percent of the morning sunlight in so get to bed early. I would come back again for a comped room.

This casino is one of my favorites in Lake County. The employees are awesome and go above and beyond to make the guests comfortable and enjoy their visit. The hotel has great rooms and comfortable beds. There is wheelchairs for guests that need them. The snack shack, restaurant, and bar have delicious food. This is the only casino in the county right now that allows smoking. The new gas station Uncle Buddies, gives you free play when you purchase gas. Twin Pines is an all-around great experience. I have never had a bad trip here. I recommend this casino over any of the others in the county.

It is wonderful how they put out a real nice Thanksgiving Dinner every year! I love how the girl scouts & boy scouts help out. Very Greatfull!!

All Team Members were welcoming and very helpful. Several times during our visit we were asked "please let us know if you need anything or have a question".Slot area clean, seating comfortable and yes we won. Lunch was plentiful and tasty and service very attentive.We visited during annual Craft Fair in the events building which added to a delightful day.Thank-you for a memorable time!

I've been coming to Twin Pines off & on since they were just a one room casino. Being from Napa the trip is a bit long. And honestly I usually the house wins. I must say on my most recent trip with a friend the staff were very nice. I may start going back again,but I definitely think they need to up there free play more. That's were I see a huge difference between all the casinos in CA when it comes to vistors.More free play makes people spend a lot more money and visit more. Free play is key to success for a casino.

I had forgotten my driver's licence there, which was used as my personal ID in order to take advantage of the casino's offer of free gambling money to first-time visitors. When we made the reservation, the concierge said she would put us in one of her favorite rooms. She did a great job. The room was large and comfortable. The Casino is located close to where we could visit with family. Amanda in the restaurant was an amazing waitress, whether there were two of us or the seven. The food was good and plentiful. Stayed here while in northern California on business travel. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. If I had to nitpick, the shower was rather deep and hard to get in and out of. I'm not much of a gambler, but I did sit down at one of the tables and had fun. Walked away up!

Quaint & cozy casino & hotel.I have absolutely loved each & every room that I have stayed in here at Twin Pines......All of the rooms are very spacious, with a very large & open vanity area, separate from the more private tub, shower & toilet room. The rooms give you with of the rooms are always neat & clean.If you can wait until you arrive here to get your gas or better yet, fill your tank, you will save a bundle & they give you free play for getting your gas herd.Reasonable prices, even if you don't have a free one available.I'm always given a generous amount of free play, despite not being able to come as often as I would like. As well I usually have at least one complementary night stay per month & sometimes that is for any night of the week.

This review is for the casino the restaurant and snack bar. The snack bar has a lot of sandwiches & wraps also things like spaghetti, lasagna,tri tip with veggies. Also a pretty good line up of desserts flavored coffee drinks hot and cold. They are open really late, like 1:30 I think.The Manzanita restaurant. I have eaten there a bunch of times. The food has always been very good. No complaints. Sometimes I'll get a server who up sales everything. I know times are tough. So push the expensive items get a bigger tip. But one server in particular goes hard in the paint. Other than that, very satisfactory.Casino is awesome. They have all kinds of slot machines. Old to brand new. They change them alot. The rooms are amazing. There some of the most spacious rooms I've ever have stayed in. Bed has to be the best hotel bad I've ever slept on. The pillows may even be better then the ones I own( I'm very picticular on my pillows). The room feels like a suite there so spacious. Location is nice feel as if your in the country. A $25 wine pairing event that evening, organized with a local winery. As a former French bank employee turned foodie and wine connoisseur (who still enjoys a good beer), I thought, why not?What a treat it turned out to be! The event was intimate, the crowd was awesome, and the hors d'oeuvres were top-notch. Think real crab meat cucumber rolls, crostinis with juicy pulled duck, crispy rice cakes with sashimi tuna, and handmade chocolate truffles infused with raspberry. My taste buds were in heaven!I paired the crab rolls with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc, the tuna with a local Merlot, and the duck crostini with a variety of wines, each pairing more delightful than the last. And though I usually avoid sweets, I couldn't resist the truffle that melted in my mouth.Apparently, these wine pairing Fridays are going to be a regular thing. Too bad I'll miss the next one! Compt room, great customer service, cool relaxed atmosphere. It's located just outside of Middleton Ca near Clear Lake Ca. We took the scenic route from Fairfield to the back side of Lake Berryessa via Pleasants Valley Rd. It's the longer route, but I love the drive. The shorter route is Wooden Valley Rd towards Lake Berryessa, CA. We got to the Twin Pines Casino on a Thursday morning; early. It's a smaller casino, and the parking lot was nearly empty, which was the point. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is quite cozy with their pioneer theme, which I found to be astetically pleasing. They did a great job with the interior design. Great customer service at both the front desk & cashier. Very nice and welcoming. The room was much bigger and nicer than I had anticipated. If you look at their brochure, don't make your decision based on the photos. You won't be disappointed when you arrive. We had a 1 queen size bed, extremely comfortable. Blackout curtains, the desk, and the telephone had our name on the screen, as well as a separate charging station (not on a lamp)!! I really liked the bathroom design. It's in two sections. Toilet and tub are separate. Deep bathtub, big enough for 2. Complimentary body wash, shampoo, cond, and lotion. Comes with all the usual amenities, fridge, microwave, coffee, blow dryer, ironing board, and Wifi.This casino has new and old style slot machines. They are pretty much the same as any other casino you go these days. There's a gift shop and cafe. Overall, I was very pleased and will be returning.

Beautiful grounds and personable service. The wine tasting was standing up at the bar, and our host was very informative and friendly! A lot of the wine tastings we did today almost felt like a revolving door, but Chateau Montelena definitely kicked it up a few notches!This was our last stop during a private tour and we are so glad we wrapped our day here! Wine Country 🍷•Chateau Montelena Winery you were amazing! Scheduled a tasting with Lin and learned a lot about the history of your life. She was very informative and catered to our tasting needs. From the castle you see when walking up to the Asian style gazebos on the lake, the views surely do impress. If you are in the Napa Valley and specifically Calistoga, I urge you to go have some chats, some sips and don’t blame me if you leave with 3 or more bottles of wine as we did 🤭 HIGHLY recommend the #Chardonnay. I’m not a fan of a Chardonnay but this French style changed my tune on what to expect when going to a tasting. Very impressed.

I came here on a Thursday after booking a tasting for myself and my husband. We did the standard tasting and were in a group with 4 others. It started right on time and David, who was doing our tasting, was informative and friendly.The wines were good, I especially liked their award winning chardonnay. I'd also say it was exciting to try a $185 bottle of cab sav.The grounds were beautiful. Unfortunately work was being done on a part of it so we couldn't see the lake and islands too wellsince we weren't allowed on the sidewalk.Overall I'd say worth the visit. It was shorter by a lot than many other wineries we visited, for the same cost, but beautiful none the less.

Better than you can ever imagine! I recommend an early tasting here, so you have room to explore the grounds. They have a beautiful garden and lake area I could have explored all morning.The Chateau has a rich history with people who care.Lin wowed me during our tasting experience. She is genuine, kind, and truly a pleasure to spend time with.They have some wonderful collateral explaining the soil where the grapes are planted. Left with a couple of bottles. Great winery! Probably one of my favorites from my trip. They have some pretty good wine deals that the other places I went to didn’t have. The walk towards the tasting was so nice and green! We had a great time touring Chateau Montelena, would definitely recommend the experience to everyone. My favourite from the tasting was Montelena Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, while the best one for a hot summer day was Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc. I really enjoyed learning about 1976 Paris tasting and exploring the estate. If you're from around you want to become a member, and if you're visiting you should absolutely go for a tour.

This was our last tasting on our trip to Napa Valley. Cathy was our guide and she was great. All 5 of us throughly enjoyed the wine and learning more from her. We walked around the property after our tasting and it is gorgeous! This was one of our favorites of the 6 we visited.

This is a must when you come to Napa! It’s one of the furthest north in the region on the map, but it is so worth it. I didn’t make a reservation in advance. However, if you go early in the morning when they first open, you will probably get in. They also do military discounts which is amazing! Their wines in the wine tasting were really good, The building, and the grounds that you are in our picturesque! Definitely walk the grounds. They have a beautiful lake and bridges, and in the front the building looks sort of like a castle. So definitely get a picture there! The inside seems castle like and cavelike as well. Me and my friends and family had a really good experience and they were great at being informative and making it fun! I would definitely go again!

Beautiful grounds!!! Lin was fun! She handled two tasting groups at once, as we were late due to Uber issues. Wines were good, and the tasting was informative. Their Chardonnay was my favorite of the wines we sampled there. (This is the vineyard behind the story line of the 2008 movie Bottle Shock)

First visit to this winery. We took the tour and tasting. Tasted 6 wines including one desert wine. Bought a 200 dollar Cab. I have to say one of the best Cabs I personally have had. Beautiful grounds and alot of history to be had there. Staff was nice and informative.

A fantastic winery in northern Napa valley.Our host Patti walked us through all of their delicious wines, and even added some specials to our tasting. The history of the winery is also well described. Montelena is known for their Chardonnay, so we walked away with a bottle to bring home. The estate is also a beautiful property for pictures, so make sure you leave time for that!

We scheduled our tasting at 10am to beat the crowds.... and we were not disappointed! We did the Explore Ageability and had the experience to ourselves since we were the only ones there. The experience was wonderfully informational, and the wines were delicious. Their Chardonnay was amazing, and I typically do not like Chardonnay. After our tasting, we had plenty of time to explore the grounds and appreciate all the beauty. It was a great way to begin our wine tasting adventure of the day.

Pricey? For someone out of town, sure. Delicious and amazing? Absolutely. I would definitely recommend this place. The staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was surprisingly relaxed while tasting some wonderful sparkling wines and some amazing cheese.

The wine is great of course but I was very disappointed by how unaccommodating they are. We had a group slightly larger than their 8 person maximum (we were 10) and they made us sit at separate tables despite being easily able to join tables together.. because of ‘policy’ (a policy which they weren’t able to explain). AND they denied entry to our friend because she had her 6 month old baby with her. They suggested maybe leaving the baby in the car if the parents wanted to join. She opted to drive all the way back to SF rather than risking her baby’s life for her friend’s birthday celebration and a glass of sparkling wine 🤷🏼‍♀️

Friendly staff, incredible wine, and the outdoor tasting patio with magnificent views make this a top winery to visit in Napa. Our hostess, JoJo, was great! She was friendly, knowledgeable and created an amazing tasting experience for my wife and I. As others have noted, the wine is exceptional and the prices reasonable. I highly recommend visiting this wonderful winery!

First time I was here was in 98/99 while in college. Great memory then. Not a mature palate. Fast forward to now. Times have definitely changed but Mumm was still able to make life better with bubbles. Have a couple or 5 tastings of delicious samplings. Take a a bottle or some for the memories. Knowledgeable staff, clean and cool tastings. They even have a photo gallery to walk through before your reservation. Come try it out!

Mumm Napa was by far my favorite wine stop! They sat our large party together & gave us personal attention. Great pours of wonderful sparkling wines. The covered seating takes advantage of the lovely setting while you sip your sparkling wines. Highly recommend 👍🏽

Libby was awesome. It was apparent that she did her homework and led us through a journey of more than 8 sparkling wines - each getting better and better. Our experience with Mumm was the highlight of Napa, so much so that we signed up for their wine club without hesitation. We will be back very soon. We made reservations for the ones we thought we would like the most, at the end of the day we had some extra time so, we made reservations for Mumm. As opposed to the excellent time , attention and experience we had through the day this experience was horrible: they didn’t communicate properly, and kicked us out of winery rudely and without warning.If we consider our next vacation based on this last experience we never get back to Napa.

Beautiful grounds and ample seating makes Mumm a great place to bring a Napa first-timer. Their selection is vastly bubbles, which I love, but despite doing a tasting only one stood out to me - the rose.

My partner and I traveled from Texas to visit family in California, and they took us to visit Mumm. It was such a lovely experience! The scenery was incredible! Our server, JoJo, was extremely knowledgeable about all of the wines, and very kind which made our experience that more enjoyable!

Great experience. Me and the fiance enjoyed a wide variety of sparklings. The temperature outside was 100 and we sat indoors in the tasting room. The tasting room is full on window view with a good look into the vinyards. On the trees you can see humming birds. Mia was our server and took great care of us! We strongly recommend visiting any time of the year 😀

Mumm Winery, who doesn't love delicious sweet bubbles (or dry if you prefer that) Service is always professional and friendly. The gift store could use more help, though. The restroom is clean. Plenty of parking.The patio has a fun atmosphere, with enough seating with beautiful views of the vineyards and mountains. Make sure to visit Mumm whenever you're in Yountville. However, reservations are highly recommended for members and definitely for non-members!

We had a splendid experience at Mumm Napa. They have a huge collection of sparkling wines. There is no restriction/entry fee per guest which helps if there are non drinkers in the group. You can choose to order a flight of 3 wines/by the glass. Our host Andy was very fun and knowledgeable. He suggested the flights to get after asking us our preferences. We got a flight and paired it with nuts + chocolates. We were also served a welcome glass of sparkling wine which was delicious.

If you only have time for one or two tastings + love sparkling wine, Mumm Napa is a MUST!We had to book super short notice + snagged a 10am slot on the Oak Terrace. Drinking before noon is 💯% underrated. 😆 The bits and baubles from local cheeseries were such a pleasant accompaniment to the wines. Def didn't regret paying extra for the Terrace.You will definitely enjoy your tasting at Mumm Napa. 👍

Wonderful champagne, but would have been nice to have a formal tasting. We would have made an appointment if the website had indicated it was necessary. Making the best of the situation we all got different champagnes and shared...it worked for us!

Great wines, tepid welcome, bad service. We stopped by for a tasting and they told us they couldn’t give us one because a sommelier was on lunch. Granted there are two other tables with people in the entire winery. We were given the option to by a glass, and we paid it up front like we were at a cafeteria. Then entire time we drank our wines, nobody came to check in on us, and no one gave us a menu of wines we could purchase. We left when we were done, and uninterested to purchase bottles. We’ll never go back but their wines are exceptional.

Came to grab a quick glass to toast our engagement. Called ahead to let them know our Uber was running late. They said they could stretch the tasting reservation 20 min but could maybe grab a glass beyond that. Arrived 5:29 (9 min past) and was greeted at the host stand by the manager that they’re closed (open until 6:00 pm). Apparently, they “sent their bartenders home” (before they were closed and with patrons still dining).I explained that we called ahead and our Uber was a 25 min drive ($35). I assured her we would only stay for 15 min and would be happy to just buy a bottle and close out the bill and be gone before 6:00. The manager still refused and said they sent an email to let me know not to come. After confirming there was no email, her response was “well we were going to”. Which would’ve been fine if it did come through, but instead we wasted 45 min at $60 for the drive, which was treated as ‘well that sucks’No communication, no flexibility and zero accountability. I’ve worked in food/bev for a very long time. This was quite possibly the worst experience I’ve had. There was no effort to acknowledge their bad communication/organization and no attempt to provide a voucher for the mistake and/or reschedule our reservation for the next available time and day. The attitude of the manager was dismissive and just overall disinterested.Looking at the other comments here, seems I’m not the only one to have this issue….Tl,dr… Just buy a bottle.

Clearly trading off the Mumm brand only. Tasting was awful. We were left 15 minutes before anyone even came and welcomed us, another 20 minutes until the first tasting was served. Then our waitress served us flat (warm) sparkling, claiming that is how it came, and only after I insisted she fetched another bottle then she admitted the last serving was in fact flat.Then there was a calamity around her dropping a cork somewhere which seemed to be more important to discuss then actually anything about the wine or vineyard. The only fact we got was that they sometimes seat upwards of 500 people a day. I agree - The experience was like being on a factory conveyor-belt line, and not a very organised one at that.We left there agreeing that this was the worst tasting experience we had tried, by far.

We arrived at Mumm just shy of 1 hour early for our tasting. After check in, the staff informed us that they would not be able to seat us early and we could see that They were busy. Since most vineyards are by appointment only, we didn’t really have a choice but to wait around. Not too terrible since it was a beautiful day. We explored the shop and made our purchases, walked to the vines for photo ops, and even visited the “art gallery” which is more a collection of digitized photos. As our appointment time approached, a random down pour of rain began. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to enjoy the terrace for the Oak Terrace tasting, but we were sat inside due to the rain and about 15 minutes after our time. The wines were nice and the pairings of cheese etc. were ok, but overall we felt the cost of the experience did not justify the quality we received. The one positive part of the experience was our server’s, Eric, knowledge and recommendations. Overall, we wouldn’t recommend Mumm based on our experience, but would recommend the sparkling wines to those new to drinking wines.

We came in late, and Sara helped us out. Didn't make us feel rushed and just let us enjoy our time there. She even recommended a couple local spots for dinner. We ended up buying a couple drinks.

Man the sparkling bubbly is very tasty. Man very flavorful and unlike many of the dry and vinegary wine I have had in the past. It was simple to go in and picked up a few bottles. The base wines they sell are just as tasty as the high end bottle so mixed it up. Customer service people were kind and attentive. This wine is a little sweeter than most brand according to colleagues who live in the area. The sweetness totally work for me enjoy!!

Of the 3 wineries we visited today, this one was the most expensive for least amount of experience in return. They could only accommodate us on the patio in direct sun, even though there were plenty of other tables available. It was either sit in the sun or nothing. I used to like this place, I guess things change

I recently visited a winery that I had high hopes for, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to expectations. After a long 1.5-hour drive, I found myself questioning if it was worth the trip. The offering consisted of five glasses of champagne, but each was only filled to one-third of the glass. This felt quite stingy and did not justify the effort and time spent getting there.The outdoor terrace, which I was expecting to be a highlight, turned out to be rather lackluster. It lacked any spectacular views or ambiance that might have redeemed the visit. Overall, the experience felt quite ordinary and not worth the journey. I wouldn't recommend this winery if you're looking for something special or unique.

Love this winery. I came 17 years ago and have been drinking their retail wine since. I joined the wine club this time and know it will be so worth it. Relaxing experience and Karla was a gem. She was knowledgeable, sweet and loved what she did. Thanks!!!

We came here for my birthday with a reservation.It was raining really hard that day but even the outdoor space was covered with heaters. Luckily they were able to move us to an inside table.There was a bit of a wait to get seated but we came with a small group of friends so we didn't mind just hanging out and chatting.Kat(Kathleen?) was our server and she was great. She was friendly and knowledgeable.We all tried different wines (some of us got the sets).And we picked a bottle to take home.Excellent service and beautiful location.They gave us all chocolates and (another) complementary drink at the end for my birthday.

We recently visited for a special family reunion, with members flying in from all over the country. This was a significant event for us, and Brando, our server, truly made it unforgettable.Brando elevated our experience. Our family is high-energy and loves to have a good time, and Brando struck the perfect balance between professionalism and joining in on the fun. His subtle ability to crack jokes and engage with our banter had us in tears from laughing so much.We can't thank him enough for making our visit a memorable one. Brando is a gem.Thank you, Brando!

We had reservations here and they canceled in us due to weather. However, the weather turned out fine and there was no need to cancel. In addition, I called to try and fit us back in here and they turned us down flat. No ability to accommodate after they canceled on us. Truly poor customer service.

Mumm sparkling wine was wonderful. Our charcuterie plate was wonderful too. However, the gentleman that was our tasting host seemed bored with his job. He was very robotic about his presentation and totally aloof. He poured the sparkling wine and said “let me know how you like it,” and rushed off. We felt like we were a burden to him even though we were the first and only people there. We will continue to buy your wine because we like it. As a representative of your beautiful winery he needs to be more engaging with your customers especially being a manager. The one star is because of him.

Delicious sparkling wines with a wonderful selection of cheese pairings. Our server, Mia, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and provided exceptional service. Deducted one star because we were seated 10-15 minutes later than our reserved time and the indoor tasting room had a bathroom smell to it.

Service orientation amongst staff is poor, almost as if they are doing a favour coming to work. The staff show little flexibility to meet customer requirements - we wanted a table in the sun but they wanted to keep it free in order to help in serving the next table! When we took the table in the shade both the gas heaters did not work. The staff fiddled around a bit but left without fixing, without even a word of apology. The server opened a couple of bottles almost in the face of one of our group, showing little regard for personal space.

The “Oak Terrace Tasting experience” was amazing, but recommended for special moments because of the price. The wines, food, artisanal cheese were all great, and the gluten free toast was very kind (I'm celiac). Excellent service, very comfortable space and beautiful landscape. Tips are charged.

Special thank you to Jojo who took us through our tasting. We had many questions about the area and the winery and she took the time to answer everything we needed. She also gave us a list of the best restaurants in the area. The wines were all delicious and property is beautiful.

What a huge disappointment! The gallery was closed, and the gift shop was sparse, missing much of the merchandise it once had. The Santana sparkling wine is no longer available since their 18-year partnership with Carlos Santana ended. The seating process has become unnecessarily complicated—first, you have to check in with a concierge, then you’re required to make a reservation.Our group of five was seated but couldn’t order a bottle of sparkling wine because they only serve by the glass or offer tastings at an absurd $40 for three 2oz servings! To make matters worse, our designated driver, who wasn’t drinking, was denied a seat because it would have exceeded capacity by just one person, even though empty chairs were available nearby and could have easily been added.Adding to the frustration, an empty table next to us was claimed to be reserved, yet no one showed up the entire day.Compared to past visits and other alternatives, this was a very disappointing experience.

Just had a tasting with Jojo! I've been a member for some time now. This has been my favorite experience by far! She's knowledgeable, kind and interactive! 15/5 highly recommend a tasting with Jojo!

We went here as part of our honeymoon back in September 2023 and had the worst service ever. It was hard to flag down the wine server for the next tasting in our flight every time and he seemingly profiled us as he was keen to cater and service a different table but ignored us every time he passed our table (which was right by the door to go inside). He seemed rushed and short worded with the tastings. This was by far our least favorite tasting experience on our honeymoon and first time in Napa.

We did a wine tour with Andy and he was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable, fun, and provided a great experience for the two of us who were new to wine tours/tasting. He made the experience very enjoyable.

Nice range of options for tasting. You can choose one of their flights or simply order a glass of wine of your choice. Very relaxing and peaceful location. Their 2017 Eclipse wine is one of the best sparkling wines I’ve had!

I honestly enjoyed it. It's a little expensive I think for what's offered. We brought our own food and there aren't really any other attractions besides the geyser itself. I paid almost $50 and I'm not really sure why. I also had to pay to feed the goats, which was the most exciting part. But the whole area is quiet and peaceful and not too big so it felt safe for young kids to play. Unfortunately the geyser did not erupt while we were there but they did give us a free voucher for up to a year so that was cool. I'd love to go back but not at that price. It was a good time out but not worth the money.

It was worth the admission the see the geyser. We were lucky and only waited about 20 minutes. There’s a garden area and a small petting zoo with goats and llamas. It was a hot day, but there places to sit in the shade. Geyser lasted about 5 minutes. It was a neat experience.

We came on a Tuesday to visit the park. There was plenty of parking, and very few people when we first arrived.The geyser went of about 15 minutes after we arrived. There was lots of information about the park, and geyser. You can purchase food to feed the animals kept there. There is an old wooden swing chair set, as well as lots of seating to wait for the geyser to go off.We were there about an hour and watched the geyser go off twice in that time. The park got a little busy while we were there but not to many people. You are able to bring in food and beverages to enjoy.

Cute place to visit. Liked the animals. Wish we could get in with them, but it's not really a petting zoo. You can reach through the fence and pet them if they get close enough. The Geyser didn't errupt while we were there, but you can ask the attendant for a pass that is good for you to return for free and get a second try at seeing the Geyser errupt. Pass is good for 1 year. Bathrooms could use some TLC. Lots of happy kiddos there. 🐑

I strongly recommend this place for families with young kids. Nature lovers should put this in a must see list. Yes , Napa still has volcanic activity. Waiting to see this natural phenomena is thrilling. It's easy to reach if you use Google maps. Only 70 miles north of San Francisco. Huge parking lot which has a food truck. Limited food options available. Several picnic tables are there in the property so bring your family with lunch and have a blast. Very informative, well maintained property.

It's impressive, I had never seen a Geyser, nature is incredible. The place is nice, you can go relax in the place, picnic area, many tables and chairs to rest, clean bathrooms, the area in general is very nice, horses, goats, the place allows dogs. It is definitely a nice place to visit when you come to Calistoga.

The geyser erupts around every 45mins to 1hr interval and lasts for 8-10mins. They have sofas around it so that you can sit comfortably and enjoy the view. There are also some animals to see and few games you can play while waiting. Fee is 15$ for adults. Usually not very crowded.

It was really nice that they had shaded areas complete with couches and throw pillows. Tables to eat at and magazines are also in the shaded areas. Several picnic tables are also around the areaThere are signs with information about the hot springs and geyser around the property. A small geology museum of sorts was also informative. At the entrance was a gift shop with various items for sale, including cold drinks and snacks. The property also has a small farm to peruse. Overall, it was a nice place to stop and have a picnic lunch

Shear wonder of the Nature. An eruption of hot water shoots up to 20ft almost hourly perhaps from the ground. Amazing. Entry fee should be reduced. Presently it's $15/Adult , $13/Sr.Citizen and for children may be $10/child

Super fun. We got to see the geyser go off from their comfortable seating, enjoyed the swings and bocce ball and it was a gloriously warm July day. The staff we friendly, the goats fainted and a good time was had by all.

Pretty cool little place to visit. Wish there was more historical interactive or nature interactive things to do. For how far of a drive off the beaten path an investment in some animal experiences or something to spend more time there. It is a beautiful property after all.

Gayser is nice but that's about all there is to see, it does not worth 15$ per adult, 5$ tops..This place is overpriced and pretty much the definition of a tourist trap. And we were lucky to see the geyser in action without waiting..

We arrived quite late and it was still very hot. There are not many things to do there while waiting for the geyser. Our daughter enjoyed the animals, although they looked very sad with zero shade to hide under. We enjoyed the geyser experience and made some nice pics.

Really amazing geyser, with a picnic area, various amusements and an explanatory "museum". Well worth a visit but allow at least an hour to ensure that you see an eruption.

This was an impromptu stop for us and a pretty cool natural wonder to see in person. Lots of seating so get comfortable while waiting for the next explosion to blow if you missed it prior. Or take some time to check out the beautiful well kept grounds and meet the animals while you wait. Once it goes off you have about 5-7 minutes worth of water spouting for plenty of pictures or videos. Worth the wait. It seems someone has to go pee to start and stop it, lol.

The geyser activates quite often, we saw it three times while we were there, It was nice to see the geyser with the beautiful mountains as a backdrop and a rainbow on the side. We fed the goats and llamas and watched the horses. Really relaxing place.

The place was pretty awesome. We got to see the geyser twice. My son fed the animals. We found out the Groupon how to deal after we went, but it was still definitely worth it! I highly suggest this place you have young kids or if you just are into volcanic activity type of stuff.

This spot has to be experienced because videos and pictures simply do not do this place any justice. There’s enough room for literally everyone. It’s a very unique experience you have the pleasure to share with locals and people from all over Cali. Children friendly and there’s something for everyone.

What a fun place! The geyser had just gone off when we got there, so we didn't have to wait at all. It was crazy how long it went off. The seating around the geyser is so comfortable. Then we read all the signs, visited the animals, checked out the geology museum, walked the beautiful grounds, took lots of silly pictures. We would definitely go again with a picnic.

Was definitely underwhelmed when I arrived. Small place, big backyard feel in waiting area, geyser area is fairly small. Waited about 10 minutes for eruption. About 20ft eruption from a small rock area. Still cool. And honestly, I dug hanging out on the swings.

A last second find led to an awesome detour that I couldn't have wittingly timed. Standing maybe 30 feet from the geyser with only 4 other people, an intimate experience compared to equally-impressive Yellowstone.

The history of the place was very interesting. We only had a limited amount of time to stay for travel reason and we're given bad information by ticket sales staff.We paid almost $40 to not see the geysers active. The only recourse was they have up complimentary tickets to come back which would be pointless for us coming up from Texas.Left the establishment feeling tricked and 40 dollars lighter.

A pretty small geyser but the farm itself is lovely. We fed sheep, alpacas and goats. We had a small kid who really enjoyed the place! There's a few games you can play too like Boche ball.

Beutiful experience, every Geyser is different, I love the fact that this one is in California. If you love nature, you'll enjoy it. There is planty seating and shade all around. The geyser erupts every 30-40 min. A few goats and alpacas. It is worthy.

It is not as predictable as the 'old faithful ' in Yellowstone. We waited approximately 75 minutes, but that made it worth the wait. It lasted approximately 10-15 minutes, so plenty of photo opportunity.

I like this spot . Ofcourse we had to wait for almost 30 minute for the geyser. But it was worth the wait.Plus there are bunch of goats and horse that your kids might want to interact with.

The cost of admission is $15, which is a reasonable price for the experience. Be prepared to wait patiently, as it may take up to 2 hours for the next release. While you wait, there are comfortable, covered seats with padding. Consider purchasing a bag of animal feed to give to the goats and alpacas, although they also enjoy eating the grass if you are short on cash. Additionally, don't forget to pay attention to the horses in the back.

Worth a quick stop while in Napa. The geyser gave a good show - shooting up at-least 20 ft.There is a petting zoo with llamas and goats that you can buy feed for as well as shaded picnic tables.The geyser lasts for about 5-6 mins between 12-15 min intervals

Geothermal joy!Fun family or friends outing. The geyser erupts approximately every 90 minutes. While you are waiting, you can relax in many of the comfortable chairs, feed the goats, play bocce ball, enjoy the relaxed surrounds, and read the plaques to learn about geothermal activity.You are allowed to bring in your own food so you can enjoy a picnic lunch while you wait for the geyser.

Our first time here. Enjoyed learning how the geyser was made. Was cool to see the eruption of the geyser.Short easy walk, has a small animal section and a gift shop on the premises.

Really skeptical at first. We've been to bigger ones and this looked pretty...unimpressive to start as we got there, saw the water/rocks/tiny pool and expected very little. We got a 2-foot fart and thought that was it, then about a minute later, it went off - for over 2 minutes. Actually impressive, if you're near here, take the time. It goes every half hour or so, so not a long wait. Shady seating areas provided, gift shop with snacks and cold drinks as well.

Waste of time and money. Very disappointed. Only friendly person there was man feeding the goats. We do not recommend this attraction.

Great experience. Castle, Wine and great service what else do we need in hospitality. Views are amazing. Wines wonderful and warm hosting staff. We did the wine tasting tour we were offered a list of wines to select for tasting we had to select 5. If you are new to wines then you can ask the server they will help you select the wines to maximize your experience and tell what to observe while tasting wine and how to enjoy wine with different snacks cheese or chocolates.They have some really great wines I really liked their Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Castello di Amorosa is a beautiful Napa Valley Tuscan style castle built in 1994. Reservations are recommended but not required. Winery memberships are available and are a good option for wine enthusiasts. The tastings are some of the finest wines you’ll ever taste and can only be found at Castello di Amorosa or online so stock up on your favorites while there. On site dining is available This was truly one of the best wineries I’ve visited.

Thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting! Our host was very knowledgeable and had excellent recommendations. The chocolates were very tasty. Love the charm of the castle - looks a lot like the real thing in Europe. They have “aged” it nicely. I also enjoyed the little barn yard with an assortment of animals on the way out.

This castle-like winery is one of the most famous name in Napa Valley.We visited in summer 2022, had wine tasting, served by a very funny and informative staff.The shop area was great. With all their wine products and merchandise, you won't get out of there empty handed for sure.

This winery was highly recommended by friends. The drive up to the castle was beautiful. Take the tour if you can. It was $77 with online booking and includes a tasting at the end. Mark did an excellent job on our tour of 5. He is very knowledgeable and his energy was great. Thank you, Mark!

First time here with my family. Domenico was awesome. He took care of our wine tasting table. He was nice, friendly and professional. He made us feel so comfortable. When we walked around the castle, we felt like we were in Italy! We all enjoyed it. We will be back soon!

TRAVELERS TAKE NOTE! This place is beautiful but BUSY! I am so glad that I made a reservation, as they have a gate keeper that will not allow you on the grounds unless you have a reservation to be there.Pros:-This place is very unique! This castle was built over 30 years ago, however, the owner/creator wanted to create a castle that looks like something out of old world Italy. Everything is hand crafted, and aged to create a wonderful feel of stepping back in time.-This place has a great wine selection, no matter what your preference is.-This castle is set up on a hill with beautiful grounds that are well maintained that have a great view. Additionally, they host lots of barn yard animals which is unique.-They are staffed extremely well, so you are never waiting long for your next wine to try.Cons:-SO BUSY! There are large crowds here. If you don't like being around large groups of people on vacation, then I don't think this place would be for you. Trying to carry on a conversation in the wine tasting rooms is difficult.-I think some of the best parts of the castle you are unable to see unless you pay for the full guided castle tour, not just the self-guided tour and tasting.

This is the best wine tasting experience that I have ever had and thanks to our host Grace. We really enjoyed our experience. She was very knowledgeable, patient, fun and made us truly comfortable. They have a wide variety of wine for all kinds of wine lovers from sweet to semi dry to dry. We ended is buying quite a lot of bottles cause it’s really good. The best part is they have home delivery at reasonable cost. Don’t forget to try their grape juice in between the wine cause it’s too good. The castle itself is very beautiful. You can opt for a group guided tour or self guided. They have wine tasting in a closed room and in open space too. But you are not allowed to get up in between the tasting to roam around in the castle. Plan your visit for around 3-4 hours cause you will take that much of time to enjoy the tasting and then explore the castle. Lot of picture perfect spots which you don’t wanna miss. It’s a busy place, so plan your visit. Definitely a must visit winery in napa.

I loved the castle experience! Having never traveled to Europe the fairytale lover inside of me was jumping with glee. We purchased the self guided/standing tasting for $50. We drank our wines quickly and then set off to explore the castle and grounds. If I was going to rate the wine I’d give it 3 stars, The Castle 5 stars and the service 3 stars. Our wine server was polite and friendly he just lacked enthusiasm. It was as if he knew the wines weren’t that great and that the best thing about The Castle of Love was the building itself and not the wine. The most expensive wines are delicious ($100 a bottle) but the cheaper wines, (anything less than $100) are meh.People who payed to sit and taste wine waited a long time to sit in the courtyard, bake in the sun, and drink marginal wines. I highly recommend the $50 route. They take you down to the cool cellar with fans blowing to sip your wine. You have to stand the entire time but you don’t get heat stroke. The $7 chocolate addition was totally worth it in my opinion. 3 delicious fancy chocolates in a lovely gift box. Even if you don’t eat the chocolates on site it makes a lovely souvenir.

We visited on a very hot day, so being seated outside was not the most desirable option with the kid. Nevertheless, we did enjoy the tasting experience. Our daughter got some grape juice. We had a little stroll afterward around the castle and enjoyed some nice views from the top.

This is a must when visiting Napa! Make reservations far in advance! If you don’t have a reservation, they will not even let you on the grounds. The venue is spectacular in and of itself! You can roam the castle! And there’s goats and animals too! Once inside when you have your tasting, they are really accommodating, knowledgeable, and the customer service is impeccable! My family, friends, and I had such a good time here! Definitely get the cheese and the chocolate! Food and wine divine! Their wine stoppers are pretty cool if you notice them! They also sell them in the shop as well as many other things and it’s fun to look around down there! We definitely got more than our moneys worth, and will definitely be back when in Napa again!

Absolutely stunning castle located at beautiful location. Great selection of wine. Our host was super friendly, interactive and knowledgeable about wine. Overall experience was nice. We had booked tour online. Reservation included tasting of 5 wines along with self guided tour.However, most of the area was restricted for tour. Also, sitting outside on a hot sunny day was not super fun. Overall, I think it’s a lot of money for such a short experience.

Our family (2 adults and 2 kids) had a great time here. We purchased the wine tasting (5 labels per guest) and our server Jeremy E was very courteous and knowledgeable of the castle’s history. When we left the castle, there were several animals (hens, roosters, ram, lambs, goats and emus) for the kids to see. No petting or feeding. The kids still enjoyed it.We ended up buying 4 bottles and a very decorative pour top (a lion and they have about 20 to choose from in silver and gold) to take home. The castle was beautiful and we would visit it again perhaps to learn more about the castle with a guided tour.

We were lucky and able to get in on Memorial Day since you need a reservation in advance. The castle itself was beautiful and so were the vineyards! We had a wine tasting and our person was very knowledgeable! Definitely worth it.

The tour, premises and wine are great. You can’t find this wine anywhere else. My only concern is that our tour guide felt more like a saleswoman. She really pushed the sale of bottles however our group was in the mood of enjoying the experience rather than the purchase of wine. That’s why I removed a star.

Buy tickets in advance for the tasting. Pretty castle and lovely grounds - there’s even a moat! You will either taste in the upper courtyard or the cellar depending on space. Kerry H. Dreamy and majestic castle serving some of the best wines around Napa ! Check in was easy and glad that we made reservations well ahead . It’s a bummer that they don’t allow glasses of wine or bottles to be opened but I guess that’s the norm around a lot of wineries here . The art inside the tasting room was exquisite. We ordered some chocolates to go with the wine and they were really good. Service was great and wine tasting was one of a kind experience . So many good places to take pics and loved the animals in the farm .

Incredible! Our tour guide Stephane was knowledgeable, hilarious, kind, and made our experience a 20/10. This was my first wine tasting EVER and everything was memorable and spectacular from the castle grounds to the historical artifacts and recreations to the barrel tasting to the various wines we were able to try. The animals were a bonus!

Great family tasting experience. My wife and I upgraded the tasting to have the opportunity to taste their best Cabernet Sauvignon wines and we didn’t regret it!!! The kids had muscat grape juice made from the grapes near the castle. We all appreciated the tasting experience and Rusty was very good at explaining the different wines and answer all our questions.As others commented, there is a lot of people but everything went well without any wait. We have been served quickly. Keep in mind that they only sell onsite so of course they need to make more tasting than others.If you want to visit the castle, make sure to take the guided tour otherwise a lot of rooms are not accessible.

Reservation in advance is a must. Beautiful castle where you can do a self guided tour in certain areas while you have to have a paid guided tour to visit the dungeon and other parts. La Fantasia is the best wine they have. Nice staff and some of them are from Italy.

We have been here many times but now they require reservations and tasting tickets. It is $60 per person which includes 5 or 6 tastings and a self guided tour ( basically you walk around the castle). It is different from other vineyards and tasting rooms due to the lovely Castle that was built by bringing stones and other artifacts from Italy

We had a really great time here! I loved touring the castle in the grounds. The scenery was amazing and there are plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. The South Tower was my favorite. And the main Great Hall was so cool to see. The chapel was pretty neat too. We ordered the charcuterie and wine tasting and chocolates. I like dessert wines, the sweet ones, and everything else in the valley seems to not be of that variety. So if you're looking for sweet wines this is the place to go to. Just be sure to tell them what types of wines you like before starting your tasting. I sampled five different sweet wines from a rosé, a gewurztraminer and others. If you miss all the others, don't miss the La Fantasia. It is an AMAZING sweet wine and one of the best I've ever had! The only downside was that you cannot go on the guided tour and do the tastings as part of the same tour. This is what we were told over the phone and that we would have to do the self-guided tour if we wanted the tastings. When we got there, they explained that this was because the overall experience was taking too long which is why they separated them. What they didn't tell us, was that the self-guided tour does NOT get you into the lower areas such as the dungeon and the torture chamber. They will not let you self-guide in those areas due to valuable wines and other things that they don't want you touching or ruining. This would have been nice to know before coming. Otherwise we would have booked two separate experiences. One would be the guided tour and the other would be the tasting. The neat part of the guy that tour is that there are QR codes on the walls for the various places for you to scan and listen to the owner of the castle explain how it was built and much more details. The site even allows you to step through all the different videos one at a time so that you don't have to scan the code each time.

We visited Castello, it was super amazing experience. Seated wine tasting experience was superb! The castle and grounds are absolutely stunning there is no denying that but for the price we paid we were just expecting more.At the very least we were hoping to like the wines but we really weren't blown away by them at all, the only one we both really liked was the Oakville red priced at $80 a bottle.It just felt underwhelming considering we paid so much money in comparison to other wine tastings. I am pleased that we went as it was good to experience it but the actual wines were not all that. Also the vast majority of the rooms and areas of the castle is closed off to private tours which we were not aware of prior to our visit so it felt we had quite restricted access. At the end of our tasting we asked if we could purchase more wine to drink but they said no which we couldn't understand as the area was very quiet...

My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary and we loved it! Do come 10-15 minutes early to get situated with parking and soaking it all in. The drive up was beautiful. Eva was our tour guide, she really educated us on the wine making process and knew her stuff. Because of the group size and large rooms outside and upstairs there were moments where it was very hard to hear her. It is a very busy place and there are constant tours taking place, one right after the other. Once we got into the castle and in smaller rooms it was much easier to hear her. The property was absolutely beautiful! It felt romantic, cozy and gave me European vibes. The wine tasting was good - the pours were a bit on the small/average size but I did enjoy the wines! If you pay extra for the chocolate at the end, it will not disappoint it was delicious! This is also a great place to take pictures with amazing views.

Winery with this majestic castle!Unfortunately it was pouring when we went but still the castle was gorgeous and decor inside was beautiful.They make American and Italian style wine and we could taste many different kinds of wine there; you can choose which wine to taste from the list and your party can choose different ones.Their wine is only consumed at this wine tasting since they have so many visitors and what they make is just enough for them. Visiting there during holiday season, the place was super crowded and the rain did not help at all. But we still had a good time.

The grounds were beautiful, they were very kid friendly and the people were super friendly and nice. So it pains me to give these folks a not so great review but the wine offered for tasting here was not good. I personally don't want to drink wine that's been aged in concrete either (2 of 4 were concrete based) and our group as a whole was not happy with any of our wines. The wines on the garden tasting menu are the only ones I can speak to. The views were quite good and there were relaxed seating available in places across the beautiful property.Apparently the Winery waives one tasting fee per four bottles purchased. That probably sums up the value/quality of the wine itself.

We had a fantastic experience at Frog’s Leap! Our guide Aaron was awesome, the weather was incredible, mustard flowers in full bloom and the wine was great. The citrus trees were in full bloom as well. It was gorgeous and really fun. Would 100% come back.

We took the guided tour here and were really glad that we did. The vines, grounds and all the local produce and flowers were beautiful. Our guide did a nice job teaching us about how Frog's Leap came to be. We had some nice wines along the tour. It was really hot out that day and our guide did a really nice job keeping us in the shade. The barn was so cool to see with all the stills and barrels. It finished with a nice seated tasting and some light bites. We really enjoyed the wine as well as some of the preserves so we purchased several to ship home.Pro-tip: Make sure to tip your guide. They just spent 1.5 hours walking you through the winery and teaching about the wine. They deserve a tip.

We did the Rooted in Rutherford Experience, two hours walking through the Winery, gardens, production buildings. The host Lucinda with large knowledge on Napa wines gave us lots of explanation on the winery history and wines they produce. The tasting experience is also good as they offer only wines they sell in their own store and that are not sold in the regular market.

Wow!!! What a winery! Went on the tour, which was super informative and personable at the same time, with multiple tastings along the way. The grounds are amazing…AND THEY ALLOW DOGS!!! Make your reservations when you’re in town, you won’t be disappointed!

We went here with our two children and in-laws and the staff was absolutely wonderful. Very accommodating and so sweet. The entire experience was just lovely. We walked the grounds and enjoyed everything this winery had to offer. The gardens are so special and the tasting house is just such a homey and warm place. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property and strong message of sustainability. Don’t get me wrong, the wines we had were exceptional, but they openly state that they could be better if they sacrificed their philosophy of being dry and kind to the environment. They do not irritate, and they strive to use natural processes, predators, and plants for fertilization and pest control. I loved hearing about the use of owls, kestrels, and other birds to prevent ground pests. Michelle, our guide, was amazing. She knew the wine, grapes, and process perfectly and presented it in an approachable way. I would highly recommend this property and the tours.

GORGEOUS winery to visit with super reasonable prices, friendly/informed/accommodating staff, magnificent views and quiet atmosphere. I greatly enjoyed my visit to Frog’s Leap but I will say, their wines weren’t entirely to my liking which is why it wasn’t a 5 star experience for my. I preferred their reds over their whites though!Would love to come back and do another wine tasting in the future.

This winery is absolutely stunning. So many flowers and beautiful places to sit and enjoy your wine. This quickly became one of our favorite wineries. We became apart of the Fellowship of the Frog wine club and love receiving our wine shipments monthly. Will be returning and thankful for this experience.

I went here because I watched a bunch of tik toks and though the garden is nice to wander around in, and they have the wraparound porch thing I just wasn’t impressed as much as some of the other ones that we went to that week. The wine we tasted, wasn’t really my favorite, but you did get to wander around the garden with it, so that was nice! as for service they were just OK. Again, I went here because of all the videos I saw, but I would not go again.

Amazing! The grounds are out of this world with so many areas set-up to enjoy wine. I love the practices they have in place for growing the vines with bluebird boxes near by and Fava beans grown for protection and nutrients. There are fruit trees, bees vegetable gardens and chickens to help the land and feed from it. Just heavenly. Tyler was over the top helpful and knowledgeable

Jazz was our server and did an AMAZING job taking great care of us!!We had a party of 6 for Mother’s Day/ yearly family vacation and it was an outdoor garden experience on a beautiful May afternoon. Our server, Jazz was entertaining, enthusiastic and attentive, while recommending some great lunch options for us. We enjoyed a variety of wines (8) and had some goat cheese and crackers and garden fresh potato chips while touring the grounds and even fed their chickens! Would 10/10 recommend for those who like to wonder and walk about while enjoying wine and a scenic view.

Visited this winery last week with a bunch of friends for my birthday. It was fantastic. Beautiful space, staff were attentive and friendly, wine was great, got to learn about the process but also were given time to walk around and enjoy tasting the wine. Definitely recommend, was our favorite stop of the trip.

After wine tasting for a few days in the area, we were so happy with our experience at Frogs Leap. The setting is beautiful, and the tables on the porch were so cozy under the heaters and blankets, with beautiful views of the vineyards a stones’ throw away. Jazz was our fantastic server- he told us he would never let our glasses go empty and he never did! He was knowledgeable and fun, and he made the experience especially enjoyable. The wines were delicious, and we really appreciated the thoughtful snacks that the winery provides for each table. Highly recommend.

We had such an amazing experience here with our tasting. Not pushy on their club. Beautiful property, generous pours, complimentary snacks and amazing goat cheese. They allow you to walk the property and even let me pick an apple (which was so delicious)!We will come back and their Rose was so delicious!

Frog’s Leap is beautiful and the main building where the tastings take place is beautiful. Our experience was lacking because of the wines themselves and our guide. The wines were interesting, but not my favorites. Our guide was chatty but seemed nervous and inexperienced.

Our bachelorette group loved Frog’s Leap! Jazz took great care of us and made it such a fun time for our first winery stop. Our tasting included chips and the yummiest cheese, we can’t wait to go back!

Loved the site! Not quite the range of wines other places had but perfect for a relaxing afternoon on the porch! The Sauvignon blanc and Merlot were a huge favorite! The staff was also incredibly kind. Grateful for the cheese/snack between the wines to get the full effect! Thank you for a lovely tasting!

With the fall colors, the most beautiful winery I've ever been too. Garden is stunning. The craftsman style home of the winery was fantastic, everything was clean, the employees were welcoming and unintrusive, wines are made in a unique old school style that I appreciate, they have a respect and love of the environment.

I don't know what else to tell you except that I love V Sattui. Been coming here for over 20 years. They have a good store with gourmet goodies, cooked, cheeses, meets, breads, olives, etc. decently priced for the most part.Perhaps buy a bottle of wine or three in the wine tasting room. Note it costs $45 per person per tasting. And you're going to have to make reservations because they're so busy. But you can of course buy without tasting.Then take your goodies outside to their grounds where you'll find picnic tables and benches. Beautiful scenery and trees, lawns, and just pure joy.It has really changed a lot over the past 20 years. They're catered to the picnic goer and out in so much more parking and seating.They sell their standard wines as well as master class. It's really a great place to spend a few hours on a sunny weekend.

Went there two times and had great experience. All staff were nice and friendly. The environment is nice and pleasant. First time we went for wine tasting and second time we went for a picnic. Overall we all loved it. Definitely will be back and back again!

Last here ~41 years ago. Was just a counter offering baguettes, cheese and wine with open space to picnic.Really developed, offering a wide selection of food and beverages in the deli building, wine related items and great service. Tons of picnic tables and now a beautiful venue for events. Highly popular and rightfully so!

Justin and Lorenzo were great at suggesting wines during our tasting. We were surprised how much we liked the Madeira. There was a barbecue food truck at the picnic grounds on the Saturday that we went. The grounds are beautiful!

Great wine tasting and selection at V. Sattui. Lots of people were here when we went on a Sunday afternoon. Definitely make sure you have a reservation for a tasting. This place seemed very family friendly; we noticed a surprising amount of children here. Lots of parking available and is easy to navigate. Good variety of wines available here. V. Sattui will definitely have something everyone/anyone will like. Would recommend to families on vacation, couples that are just starting wine tastings and wine lovers alike.

Great wines! The person who assisted me was Carlo, he knew the wines to perfection. He asked me a couple of questions and he knew exactly which wines I would like. I enjoyed the place and almost all the wines except for the desert one, I didn't like it. I ended up tasting about 10 different wines and i was only supposed to taste 6 I believe. You also get two chocolates while wine tasting. The place has sandwiches which are make there while you look at it. The parking lot was full and it was free however I was told that you need reservations, which I already had but I thought you may like to know if you never been there. One can also get married here the place has a little area for the ceremony and reception. It has beautiful white roses, green grass, and it also has a patio area with benches where you can enjoy your sandwich and more wine of your choice. Some people were dress to impress I wear jeans, white t-shirt and sandals. 🤷🏾‍♀️ the bathrooms were clean, the place itself was clean. Enjoy and have fun!

V. Sattui is the place to go for anyone looking to hangout and have a good time! Not only do they have a wine tasting room, they also have a market and deli with a plethora of wine to choose from.Food: They have a market and deli here with sandwiches/pastas and easy eats. They also have lots of cheese, wine, and cracker choices.Atmosphere: I haven’t been to the wine tasting but I have family who went and thought it was enjoyable. I truly enjoy the outdoor seating with picnic tables under the trees. It is a beautiful and spacious area, however it does get crowded very easily as this place is incredible.Price: Prices are normal for everything here because it’s Napa Valley prices but worth it for the vibes.Parking: Parking can be tricky when it’s super busy but they have lots of parking to the side and back of the building. You don’t have to pay for parking.

This is one of the best wineries in the Napa Valley. The good part of this winery is they accept walk-ins. You have the option to buy wine from their store and drink in their common area even if you don’t have an appointment. Their winery tour do require appointment and would advise to get it in advance. The winery is really beautiful and plenty of seating and walking space. Their architecture is very good with plenty of parking space and overall we had a really good time.

We made a stop here whilst on our honeymoon road trip from SF to LA. We booked for the Bubble Bar tasting and it was incredible. The experience was lovely, the place was so beautiful and I must have a special mention to Denise, who works there on weekends. She truly went over and beyond to make our experience unique and incredible. Thank you so much. The bubbles were delicious, we had such a great time and even brought 2 bottles home with us!!

Currently under construction as they are making the market bigger. The market is in a temporary site. There is no access to the vineyard this time of year. Good customer service in the market store. He suggested a great bottle! Purchased cheese, cheeseboard, crackers and wine. Less great service in the wine tasting area. Said we couldn’t eat there because they didn’t have a food license. The public area tables needed to be sanitized more regularly. Cute place but not magnificent. I wasn’t blown away for my first NAPA experience. Ample parking.

We went with our friends, who are members, on Friday at 11:30 for wine tasting.My recommendation is to get a reservation on Friday as early as possible before the place was crowded.The grounds are fabulous! The wines are delicious. We ended up splitting a case with our friends.

Our wine dealer Julie is amazing. She told us a lot about the wines we tasted, the flavor profiles, and the history behind some of them! The wine is fantastic! We liked all of the ones we've tried. My favorite is the Madeira. The grounds are amazing, there's so much to look at! Great shaded areas to picnic from the cafe and drink wine. Highly recommend going here! The price was great for the quality.

An Italian style winery set in at beautiful garden. Plenty of options for different types food so you can enjoy picnic in their yards. They even have BBQ truck here. Lots of energy, vibrant and just fun for whole family.

We had a wonderful experience at V. Sattui. We did an outside, seated tasting with a cab upgrade. Not only was the tasting worth the price, we loved the venue and the expertise of the servers. The space was so welcoming and relaxing. Would highly recommend!

I’ve had such a great experience wine tasting. Mike F was amazing, he listened to the type of wines I love, he made great recommendations. This was definitely a personalized experience and I can’t wait to come back! make sure you get there early (10am-10:30am), less people and you can find parking. It starts to get crowded around 11:30am and parking can be difficult.Their indoor market it’s amazing: a variety of cheeses to choose from ❤️

Very nice gift shop. Deli food for sale inside including a huge variety of anything you might want for a charcuterie board or wine night. Beautiful outdoors area. Only drawback was you can't just buy a glass of wine. Either have to buy a whole bottle and drink it outdoors or purchase a tasting package at the entrance.

A nice place with lots of wine. We took the guided tour ($75 + tax and booked through their website). We were joined by another small group. The guide, Jacob, talked about the wine making process, Napa Valley, and how the winery started. We got to try 5 different wines and went to the market/grocery after to check out their selection of wine, food and other souvenirs.

They make you pay extra if you want to sit outside and don’t opt into the indoor tasting standing only IN A CONSTRUCTION TRAILER which the website does not warn you about. After the tasting, close to 7pm, the bathrooms are already locked before all patrons have left the property. No food options when doing the tasting. Again, not mentioned online at all. V Sattui was such a lovely experience for my wife, baby and I. There was lots of sitting spots in the back and in the front picnic areas. The deli is not crazy expensive and you get really good stuff. You can definitely tell ingredients are high quality. We arrived around 12:30ish on a Friday and it was already busy, so definitely our next visit will be earlier! Try the Spicy Italian sandwich 🥪 it was so goooood!

Well reviewed vineyard that makes wine accessible to the masses. You can buy the wine, some cheese and other small bites then take them out to the yard and have a picnic under the trees. Staff are friendly and helpful and it’s a lovely place to be in spring and other months when the weather isn’t too hot.

V. Sattui is probably the friendliest winery in Napa Valley. Over the past years, I've always driven there specifically for the comfortable picnic setting. Currently, the winery's grocery store is being renovated, so it's not at its best. I'm looking forward to seeing its new look on my next visit.

My most favorite winery so far. The experience was wonderful, the wines outstanding and the service is OMG I have no words. Alicia has so much knowledge and her carisma makes everything special. You sit outside and the view is amazing. They have a market where you can find delicacies, souvenirs, wines and more.

It was a shame that the market place was under construction and the container house was temporarily used as the gift shop. but this winery is my favorite. It is really inclusive and friendly. Anybody can easily walk around the garden for free.

Very nice winery. Oscar explained the history and assisted in our wine tasting. We purchased wine, bread, olive oils, and cheese. Took nice pictures. The property is amazing and great for weddings and grippy events. The staff I interacted with was Julianna, Oscar, and the cashier, who was not very pleasant after it advised her that she overcharged me for bread, had an attitude, and questioned my request. Unprofessional!Parking was adequate.

4 stars for the wine, 3 stars for the service. Even as a member, we felt very rushed and didn't get to chat much with the wine server. We were not given the opportunity to ask questions. The grounds were nice but busy and the koi fish were not well cared for. It's too commercialized now and we'll be cancelling our membership. The fifty/fifty wine is excellent but the actual winery experience was below our expectations.

I had a great tasting experience at Peju where the wines were exceptional and the service and servers (particularly Harvey) were great. We regretted doing the Peju tasting first because it made our other experience and the wines, at a different Winery, appear so mediocre.They are also very kid friendly, I was there with a 4 and 7 year old and the kids enjoyed talking to Harvey and playing with wine corks.The stained glass cab franc is one of my favorites, but they have many small batch wines that taste amazing.

The most beautiful landscaped vineyard in Rutherford. The Cab Franc is out of this world. Well worth a stop to enjoy some grape while you walk and take in all this property has to offer. We had an amazing time! Honestly- we booked here for a seated tasting bc it was one reservation we could find last minute but we could not have made a better decision! Our seated tasting with Jonathan was in an outdoor private table location overlooking water and gardens. So so pretty. Jonathan was great! Knowledgeable and friendly and I feel like he really liked his job and wanted to educate us!! ( but not in a know it all way) wine was great- didn’t have good bit their selections looked good! Book there and go! Beautiful!

I recently traveled to Napa Valley with my wife and visited Peju as it was next door to St. Supery. I have nothing but the best things to say about this family owned winery.We did a tasting with Scott who is quite the character and very knowledgeable about the winery as he has been an employee for 20+ years! He was fantastic guiding us through the tasting and I clicked with each of the wines we tasted, Scott’s comment was that my palate and the winemaker’s palate are the same when this happens. That little comment helped me connect with them. We joined the wine club after!The 2nd visit was a few days later and we had a thorough tasting with Joseph and we’re able to try some of Peju’s higher end wines. Absolutely fantastic. Both of these gents made you feel right at home!

This was my favourite visit on our whole trip! The server was an incredible sommelier who gave amazing insight into each pour and was so lovely to chat with - this really made our experience super relaxing and fun. All of the wines we tried were so incredibly smooth and delicious. Wish I could have shipper a case back home to Aus!

Great wines and lovely atmosphere. Dog friendly. And all dogs were well behaved that were there. The wines were different varietals then you'll see at other places and wonderful. I bought a 6 pack of wine and had a little mistake on the billing but the next day Esmeralda was professional and polite and very pleasant. She helped solve the problem!

Poor customer service!!!!I would not go there as they are not open until 6. We went at 5:30 and waited for 10 minutes and they said no to us, saying their wine tasting in 90mins. Asked if they would be willing to offer one drink, they said no. If you are open to certain time and advertise that, own it.Don't say you are open until 6, if you don't take any guests beyond 430.

This winery is a 100% must for me every time I go to Napa Valley! The grounds are absolutely stunning and the wine is top notch. I can't think of a time that I haven't left with several bottles of the cab. In fact, I saved a bottle from 2006 until my wedding in 2021 and it was just gorgeous after it had "aged" in the bottle and moved several times. It was such a special moment sharing it with my husband. Love Peju!

My husband and I had a wonderful time during our first with Scott as our guide! We learned about the history of Peju, its illustrious winemaker Sara Fowler, and were taken on a journey with Scott’s storytelling skills. It was the perfect way to spend our anniversary.We loved the Province and decided to get a case as gifts (and for our table!) as well as a bottle of the 2018 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon — that was one of the most beautiful wines we have ever tasted. Can’t wait to crack it open for a special occasion! We will definitely be back!P.S. the complimentary EV chargers were a nice bonus.

This place was actually one of my favorites that we went to throughout the week. I have had Peju Cabernet in the past in Las Vegas and knew I loved it so I definitely wanted to check this place out. The driveway on the way in is very unique with the trees on the side kind of curving in and over you, which I thought was really cool and different. Once you get there, the gardens are really pretty but also the inside with the stained glass windows look gorgeous! They were all super nice as we didn’t have a reservation but they got us in and got a tasting for us. Our waiter was amazing and did different ones for me versus my other two friends since they like more sweet wines and I like more dry so it was nice they varied it up. We ordered the cheese and cracker plate with it which was great! They do have this five bottle set that I really wanted and I’m still dreaming about. Maybe someday. But I will definitely go back when in Napa to this winery. I loved it!

This places was so much fun. Took my 10 year old for a Christmas present. He loved it! The tour was fun and you get up close to the animals. The tent we stayed in was right across from the warthogs and antelope. Although it was cold outside we stayed warm in the text, thanks to the space heater they provided and headed blankets. Would definitely go back.

I have been here once before, and my family and I really enjoyed it. First off, the food is absolutely amazing. A couple things to note, the food isn't available to people who Haven't made a reservation. Even if you are camping in one of the tents, you still have to reserve dinner. Next, the Rooms are really great. They're a little hot during the summer days, but nights are still a little chilly. They have a heater, but we found it unnecessary. The only thing I would say about the rooms is the water is well water so it smells a little funky. If you're not comfortable drinking well water, buy your own bottles outside of the resort. Activities are definitely one of their strong suites. I have to recommend you buy a Safari in advance (2 months prior to your reservations).Notes on the safari. We brought water, sunglasses, and sunscreen. I highly recommend sitting on the top. If you want to sit on the top, make sure to tell your staff member leading your Safari. I really do recommend this place even though the prices are pretty spendy.

So disappointed! Only a handful of animals on the property. Several in old small cages. Bird aviary tour is short, but I like birds. Our tour guide, Sara did a great job. She was very knowledgeable about the few animals on the property and their history. The park's tour bus fumes will almost kill you they are so strong. No walking by yourself in Safari West. You'd be better off going to your local zoo.

We had a great experience with our 2 year old bud. First we spent the night in one of the tent where you can see the animals from the window and the bed was heated and there is a bathroom attached.We had also the dinner which was like home cooked meal followed by s’mores and that was fun.Then in the morning we had our breakfast and did the safari.The safari itself is amazing and we were so lucky to have our guide Richard he is well knowledgeable man and has a sense of humor. He put all his energy to make sure that everyone enjoy the tour. Totally recommend it!

Safari West was a great experience, one that I highly recommend you experience with your family and friends. The ideal time to spend would include an overnight stay at the nature reserve and a tour during the day. You can spend your extra time during your stay looking at all the wildlife and nature around you. It’s also a great opportunity to go for a nice walk, especially during sunset. During the tour, you can learn about all the animals at the park while going on a nice drive on a van and getting a close look at all of them.

Info on endangered animals was fascinating. Tour guide was great and you could tell the staff really care about the animals and birds.Very hot weather that day. There were multiple water stations with ice cold water available.Worth the price for animal lovers!

We had a Talk nerdy to me tour with Miranda; We had a cheetah encounter with Veronica; And we had a rhino encounter with Kellen;These private tours were amazing. I highly recommend them. And I commend these three employees for making such a great impression on myself and my husband. And the tent was so romantic and charming, and it had all the amenities you could possibly needWhich for me means hot water, plenty of electricity, heaters, fans, and a great shower🎉

A friend and I enjoyed a tour last week. It was a wonderful opportunity to capture some great shots of animals and learn more about them from the tour guide. I lived in Santa Rosa for 25 years and drove by the place hundreds of times but never went. What a treat!

I was super excited to take my daughter here but mildly disappointed. The 3 hour tour is roughly 2 hours in the Jeep and 1 hour of walking, which you can do on your own. The jeep ride was fun as we sat on top. Our guide was also great. The number and type of animals seen was disappointing. Two Rinos, about a dozen zebras, buffalo, some giraffe and lots of variations of antelope and birds. I expected Hippos, lions and elephants and a bit more African type safari. The walking section is basically a small zoo and doesn't take an hour unless you want a thorough education. Basically an overpriced zoo with a bit of a safari. Money was better spent on a Disneyland ticket. My soon to be 13 year old who loves animals gave it a 7 out of 10. Perhaps younger children would enjoy it more.

Arrived at park without reservation due to not realizing we needed one. Upon approaching the girl at the front desk we were greeted with rudeness. Trying to allow time to see if the attitude would change, I asked if my family could get in later and was given more snark with a price sheet as if insinuating in silence “are you sure you can afford this?”. As another person approached, we were again rudely asked to MOVE aside. It was like torture trying to get out of her another opportunity for us to visit the park. We ultimately decided to leave. Our departing comment from staff was to firmly insist we don’t take it upon ourselves to wander around the park ourselves. SERIOUSLY?!?! Who would do that? For future reference to management, if they bother to read this, I would suggest training the staff to ask in this situation for any other future openings with even a hint of politeness would be helpful. This park may be wonderful, but we will never go back to see after this experience.

This review is for the Safari West African Tour. This was such a great experience! Our tour guide was Kimberly and she was so awesome. She really kept me engaged during the whole tour and I learned so much! She also gave us opportunities to ask questions which just added more to the learning experience. The tour it self is about a 2.5 hour drive where she stops and speaks about the animals/plants in addition to being right in the enclosure with the animals. The second part of the tour was the walking portion where we got to see additional animals and walk through the bird sanctuary. Everything about the tour is spectacular. Kimberly even went as far as getting the kids who were sitting on top an umbrella from another tour guide. That was so sweet of her to go above and beyond. I will definitely plan to come on the different seasons or book an overnight stay. I highly recommend checking out Safari west!

Our safari trip was amazing, fun and your guide Nichole was very knowledgeable and fun! Room on antelope alley was cozy and view great. Fresh fruit plate while waiting for a fun buffet dinner was a nice touch. Smores later in the evening at the grill pit was fun. They have great attention to detail. Highly recommended stay-cation or vacation tour/stay. Newer Automatic gate for the safari vehicles worked perfect!!

Went here on a day trip/standard tour with the family and loved it. It's pretty much like going to your local zoo, but smaller and a whole different experience. You have to book your tour time online, check in at the main office. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour start time. Depending on the guide, you might load up on the visible vehicle right away and do a walking tour of some animals/bird aviary after, or it could be reversed starting order. The vehicles have a top seating section that guest could take turns on if there is more than one group that wants to sit up top. Guides will stop at several locations and talk/give information about animals.

I surprised my partner for his bday, it was a wonderful experience all the way around. Miranda was THE BEST driver/guide, she obviously has passion for the job and is so well informed about all the animals. She answered every question asked and shared some of her favorite things about the animals and working at SW. The tent was great; very clean and though it was cold the heated blanket kept us toasty warm. Highly recommended Safari West!

If your kids are into animals and want to spend the night in a zoo, this is the place! Well thought out preserve. Lots of interesting birds and mammals … the tent was legit - although noisy at night with the traffic mixed with bird sounds (wished the camping section was deeper into the park). All and all, a great experience. I just wish they would update their 1950’s jeeps- the staff knows where I’m going with this one 😉

This is a wonderful family experience. We saw all kinds of animals on the tour: exotic birds, giraffes, antelope, rhino, Impala, zebra, gazelle, and more. Our guide Robert was fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. He's worked there for 30 years and answered all our questions. Some of the animals came right up to the truck, making for incredible photo opps. Loved it!

More kid friendly place than a romantic getaway but still beautiful. Would return even though it’s a little pricey.

I wanted my grandkids to get a taste of what it's like to go to Africa. Safari West exceeded all my expectations. The guides were fabulous! Loved the whole experience. Took a family tour during a rainy day. Kids had a good time sitting atop the vehicle and got to see a fair number of animals. We were able to get close to the giraffes who were in an enclosure due to the rain. Guides were friendly & knowledgeable.

Great place for the family, especially with younger ones. The tour guides are knowledgeable and very friendly. The yurts are clean and offer a great outdoor experience while keeping the "wildlife" experience. The dinner BBQ was excellent and we definitely had enough to eat.

We came to Safari West for the behind the scenes tour,(which is only available by calling, not available to book online). I was worried it would be too much for our kids, 2 & 4) in way of walking, it wasn't at all and it was easy to push the stroller around.In the behind the scenes tour they allow you to feed some of the animals. Kelsey was great at explaining how to feed them and keeping my very enthusiastic but scared 4 yr old safe and happy (and keeping the animals safe from him).Each person on site was so nice to us and treated us like royalty. I will definitely be recommending this to anyone going to the area.Most of all, the animals seemed happy and very loved for. They all had ample space and clean enclosures. Each animal has a name that all the crew knows. It was endearing to hear Kelsey tell us each of the animals names and what their personality was like.

We celebrated our anniversary with a safari adventure. Since I am in a wheelchair, we needed to take the ADA accessible tour. It was AMAZING! Our guide,Killian, was the best, combining knowledge and having fun on the ride. And sooo many animals.Thanks again and please give Otto my regards!

Overall, all the animals were out. We did a 1pm. tour, and it might have been feeding time, too. We had a wonderful experience, and all I have to say is you need to go! It's a must do experience.

We took the 2 p.m., 3 hour Safari tour. It was a lovely trip and worth the cost for us. The animals were beautiful and it was fun to ride around amongst the beautiful green rolling hills. We booked on a Friday in the winter, so although plenty of people and full, I could see how the summer months could be stifling and feel overcrowded. We went after days of rain, so the hills were green, the creeks flowing, and the animals excited to be out in the sun with the new spring growth. Thinking it was a midweek, and less crowded, the process of splitting people into groups for the tours, seemed to take longer than it should have. We were told to check in at 1:45 & we didn't get into our tour to close to 2:30. Maybe during the busier times, they have more employees and it goes a bit faster.We also booked the buffet lunch before the tour. The lunch was tasty enough for the price, and you get plenty of food. For vegetarians, there wasn't a lot of extra choices. However, there was plentiful green salad & asparagus with mushrooms. My husband said the asparagus was too salty. The potato salad was full of mayonnaise, and they put sugar and pineapple in the ranch beans. If you're a meet eater, there was plenty of BBQ chicken and pulled pork, with little white rolls that you could make sandwiches out of. The tea, coffee, and hot chocolate was included. The plus about eating lunch there is you get more time to look out at the animals, which is really what you're paying for. Again, all of the outside tables were full, so busier times you would have to eat inside.The cost for booking on line, tour and lunch came to $274.27. Somewhat pricey for an afternoon. The bonus is, you can walk around as much as you want for that price. So we got there early and viewed all of the animals that were caged. Pretty much what you will get to see if you spend the night. Although, I'm sure the sunrises and sunsets looking out at the animals is beautiful. They put the giraffes in the barn at night, so you won't be looking out at them. Santa Rosa is close enough that you could find more cost effective lodging if you're worried about the expense. If money is not a concern, I'd be into spending the night. More time watching animals is always a good thing.

We took our grandchildren for a three hour tour of Safari West. We did not stay in the accommodations. This was just a day trip. It was fascinating and fun, a wonderful place for people of all ages. Michele was our guide and she was excellent and informative. She is a very good ambassador of this business.

We LOVED it here. This has been on my Bucket List for 15 years, and it was SO worth it. We went as a group of 7. It was rainy and stormy when we arrived and cleared up overnight for our Safari Tour the next day. Bring warm clothes if you get cold easily. The tents are a GREAT experience (we chose the Hillside tents), and while the canvas tents keep warm, the attached bathroom is cold! The animals and birds are super chatty all through the night, so we didn't get much sleep (we didn't expect to get much sleep anyway, though). Staff are helpful and friendly. Dinner was great (even for me as a vegetarian and a guest as Gluten Free), the conservation talks are informative, the included breakfast was wonderful (including Easter Egg dying because we went Easter weekend), and our Safari Guide, Carson, went above and beyond our expectations. He was enthusiastic and passionate, and we were super impressed. You can tell he LOVES his job. You can see all the animals are very well cared for. We all had a great time. Thank you!!!

Amazing experience! We had an especially great time on our behind the scenes tour with our guide, Chris.I think spending the night in one of the tents adds a lot to the overall experience and is a must for the first time visitor.We may return for another safari trip or behind the scenes excursion in the future.

FABULOUS. We did the 3 hour afternoon tour and the entire team working there were so organized and welcoming. The animals were stunning. (Loved the rhino couple that were having a small domestic dispute🤣) Our tour guide Hale, was outstanding. She was so knowledgeable and passionate. I highly recommend Safari West to locals and tourists of all age groups! I am going to go back for a overnight stay.

Amazing experience. We got to see every animal except for one or two of the small animals on the walking portion. My boyfriend and I sat on the top and our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about her work. We could tell she enjoys her job and loves the animals.

Visited with my wife and 6 year old for the Safari tour and it was one of the best experiences with animals we ever had. Not only you feel like you're in their habitat but you also learn a ton about each animal in your way. We had a couple of amazing guides and it was clear how each staff member cared about us having a great time and, more importantly, about all the animals there. We booked lunch right after our tour, which was convenient and delicious. Highly recommended!

Lots of beautiful animals, well organized, fun tour. Angelina was a knowledgeable guide. Buffet lunch was better quality than expected compared to other zoos, children's museums, etc.

I went to Safari West with two of my girlfriends as part of our annual get together, and I'm SO glad we did!! The safari was fantastic. Our guide (Michelle, I think?) was knowledgeable and personable, making time to answer everyone's questions. She also made every effort to make sure we saw ALL the animals, either by getting us to them, or telling us when we'd be most likely to see them in the morning (especially the hyenas and cheetahs). Our tent was lovely--very comfortable, with our own bathroom and deck area. The beds were comfortable, and the heater kept us warm all night. They provided ear plugs for everyone in the tent, as the animals do start making noise early, but aside from the rooster who decided to crow from the to of our tent, most of the noses were actually rather soothing. Dinner was SO much better than we'd expected, everything fresh and delicious, with very attentive and friendly servers. We didn't have breakfast on site, as we had to make our way to our next destination, so all we had was the coffee (which is, quite literally, the ONLY complaint we had). The staff was all helpful and accommodating, and all seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. The site is fantastic, although I'm not sure how accessible it would be for persons with mobility issues.

Williamson has fantastic wines. The owner is Australian, but the focus is on French varieties. Their wine tasting includes cheese and jams, and there an optional food pairing. (We're doing the food pairing later, will review then). The cheese and spreads are creative, different, and very tasty! . Thier bottle prices are on the slightly higher side for the area, but the wine is worth it.

Had an amazing wine tasting experience here. On a bit of a spontaneous trip exploring the area they were able to accommodate us without a reservation. Staff were very friendly, patient and informative even though my friends and I are wine naive. The wine and food pairings so so much fun and delicious.

My husband and I had an exceptional wine tasting provided by Kyle. It was their wine club pick-up party so they were not initially taking walk-in tastings. As we were headed out to their other location, a gentleman ran to fetch us saying they could accommodate our tasting - which we thought was incredible customer service. In a very busy environment, Kyle provided our tasting, full of knowledge and good conversation. The wine was an added bonus as it was delicious - and don’t forget about the cheese pairing! Definitely the best money spent on our trip! We’ll definitely be back!

Avoid Williamson Wines if you are young and melanatedOwners Dawn and Bill act like they don't want to be there, but if you are young and melanated, they will make sure you know you are not welcome.I have been going to their first tasting room since 2015, and the tasting room staff (other than one of the older managers) is always a delight. They are really wonderful. We finally joined the wine club and cheese club in 2022. We started attending member events, which owners Dawn and Bill seem to be obligated to go to, and we realized how they both made sure to avoid us (usually the youngest and almost always the brownest customers there). This weekend was the last straw, and we canceled our membership after being blamed for something staff forgot to do on a past order. They checked my account and realized they were in the wrong, admitting it to us, and still managed to blame us for their mistake.Update: this was not a one off issue, we have noticed being treated differently than other guests many times. I emailed in full detail of the many incidents, this was the full response: We are acknowledging your cancellation and have removed you from both the wine and cheese club moving forward and wish you well.

If you haven't been to Williamsons...you don't know what you're missing! Their wines are top notch and their accommodations are spectacular. Definitely sign up to to a member....you won't be dissapointed!

The Icon Tasting - you do NOT want to miss! We selected the lunch; all of the food was creative and delicious. The wine pairings were well thought out. Not one of the four of us left hungry or thirsty. Tracey was our host - she was friendly and very knowledgeable with excellent recommendations for the wine. In fact, we enjoyed the food and wine so much, we came back for the happy hour and enjoyed that as well! Allison was a great host! We will definitely return!

GREAT experience here! If you only taste in one tasting room in Healdsburg, choose this one. Wines are all very tasty, and the cheese pairings are a fun peek into the worldview of Williamson, which is to pair food with wine and wine with food. Also, the hosts have such quick wit and have clearly mastered the art of making a visit enjoyable for everyone, regardless of experience with wine!

I can't tell enough good things about this tasting. Take your time and stop in.... The food pairings will astound you.... At least they did me... Everything was so thoughtfully planned and executed - each time a new wine and food pairing were brought out I was surprised how much they complimented each other.So... Tell a long story short, now a wine club, cheese club, and spice club member. It's that worth it.

I was just passing through.The plaza is pretty clean and inviting to sit and relax, read a book, paint, or do something else you like it.The town in general is beautiful and worth the visit!For sure, I will be back to enjoy some of the many wine tasting rooms and cute stores and boutiques and nice restaurants 😋

Small but magical, That is the only way i can describe the Plaza. well maintained, Restrooms were clean, surrounded by shops, Restaurant and in very short distances Safeway store located. I spent two days visiting the Plaza and i strongly recommend it to everyone. Also bring a blanket if you feel like laying down and enjoying the atmosphere and your day off. Go there!

This plaza is really awesome. There is a gazebo there and a fountain which isn’t running at the moment. Tonight there was a DJ under the gazebo. Families and people were dancing and it was cool. The plaza is all lit up with cool lights and has this lighted tunnel that’s super cool.

The setting is expansive yet intimate for local artisans and visitors alike to enjoy a respite or education or a picnic lunch. What a wonderful small town atmosphere in this beautiful Plaza. Lots of great shops and eating in the area. One restaurant even provided us with a Pup friendly guide to dining around the Plaza.

I'm a little biased here, since we have family living in this great little town.Healdsburg has changed over the years. Now an enclave of boutiques, art shops, wine tasting rooms, and a number of resorts.The new Calistoga on the Sonoma county side. That being said, wine tasting is a non cholant exercise for us. Drink what you like, not what "experts" say. Same thing with food. Even if it is simple, and you like it that is good.The Healdsburg plaza becons to an older time. Mature redwoods line the plaza square. There are times when crafts and art fairs, live music and wine tastings are around on weekends.The streets are lined with art galleries, restaurants from simple fair, to more refined foods, as well as wine tasting everywhere. LolIt is October and wine crush is here. A last tourist push.You can find some good bargains at the art fairs. I was able to find music photos from concerts in the day of the rolling Stones, led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Santana, heart, and lynrd Skynyrd. Showing my age, but very nice photography. All unique and unpublished. I bought quite a few to take home and mat and frame.In all a nice town to visit, and look around for 3-4 days.An addition for the holidays. Very relaxing town Square. Beautifully manicured lawns and perfectly trimmed old large trees. This Square is a pleasure for the eyes! In the summer time, there's a farmers market here with live music playing in the large gazebo. A great spot to experience and please your eyes.

Even though the weather didn't cooperate and we had some drizzle, the holiday festival on the Healdsburg Plaza was sensational! The live entertainment was top-end, the craft stalls had great products with wide variety and there were numerous food-truck choices! No surprise, the turnout was fantastic!!

Great place to meet up with friends, have a picnic, listen to live music and only steps away from food and shops. Noble folk ice cream is a must have while you're at the square.

Beautiful central park with a lot of mature trees providing much needed shade. There's a central stage for performances, and other public events.

Well maintained plaza. We went a few days before Christmas and heard carollers sing. The Christmas tree set up is amazing and the singing really brought on the Christmas spirit.

Very nice and people really socialize here, kids as far as I can see they love it and the police station is a block away so no worries about people being disrespectful. The city is pretty expensive but so is everywhere else right! Other than that my dad grew up in this town and I can proudly say that.

Where families play and a picnic on the grass. Great smalltow vibe. Can get crowded on weekends. Facilities and free water on the north east corner.

Fantastic winery known for their award winning Pinot Noir and situated right next to the Russian river. The owners and staff are just as great and friendly. We enjoy coming here to pick up our membership wines 2x a yr. Highly recommended. Kids and pets allowed on premise.

Wine tasting at Gracianna Winery is by far one of the best experiences. You truly see and feel how much passion they have for the wine making process. There is a lot of significance and meaning everywhere you turn, their logo is a “gift” so at your tasting ask them to share the story behind that (I don’t want to ruin the surprise). One of their wines was titled “resilience” after the 2019 flooding when they lost their entire harvest. Hands down such a humbling experience, wine was fabulous, customer service fantastic, and atmosphere superb! Thanks so much, we are locals and will be by more often!

This is a charming small production winery in the countryside near to Windsor. The winery is open every day, a happy accident for us as many places are closed on Tuesday. We sat in a well appointed and comfortable outdoor area next to a vineyard. The wines are good, something for everyone and the business still waives a tasting upon purchase which is a practice not as common as times past. The person leading our tasting was very well informed, knowledgeable and relaxed. When the sun became too much he even went the extra mile to arrange the umbrellas to provide more shade for us. The grounds are also quite lovely. We would certainly go back if we are in the Dry Creek region again.

Our tasting at Gracianna was one of our favorites in the whole area. Lafayette welcomed us with a some delicious wine and let us get settled. Shortly after that Trini came to introduce himself and poured our next taste while explaining what the procedure was for deciding when the right time is to harvest the grapes. Lafayette finished our tasting with more wonderful wines. Of course, we shipped some home so we can enjoy it again at a later time.

Trini and Lisa are the most gracious hosts, welcoming guests to their winery (and home!) and inspiring you by their family history, philosophy and of course, excellent rosé and Zin.

We had such a wonderful experience here with a group of work friends. Fernando was so fun and informative about the wine making and tasting process as well as the beautiful history and meaning behind this unique family-owned winery. The wine was fantastic!!! Thank you so much!!

The wines were all amazing. Very few wineries I’ve visited where I loved them all. This is small batch wine as they only produce 2000 bottles a year. Fernando was awesome and shared their great family story with us. Great experience and great wines!

Everything about Gracianna was fantastic. My wife and I stopped by on our honeymoon. When we arrived the owner was taking club members on a tour of his home and invited us along. This was characteristic of how hospitable every person was at Gracianna. Everyone went out of their way to make our experience the best it could be. The vineyard itself makes you feel like you could actually be in Tuscany, and the wine was exceptional. Best Pinots we had on our honeymoon by far. We loved it so much that we made an extra trip back before our honeymoon was over.

Do not visit this winery if you are not a real person!Walked up and was greeted by the Winemakers son selling lemonade. Loved it. Then he shared the excel spreadsheet of his revenue and expenses. Loved it.Grabbed a glass of wine and 5 minutes later the Winemaker sat down at our table to discuss winemaking and our trip. Loved it!Not the best wine we had, but an experience we will never forget.

A lovely property with extremely kind people! I'm not actually very interested in drinking wine, but I wanted to see a vineyard--the grapes are gorgeous right now. The staff welcomed me, gave me their blessing to enjoy the property without buying anything, explained the exact stage of development the grapes were in at the time, even offered me a glass of ice water. Clear knowledge, love, and pride was evident in every aspect.

We usually have a hard time finding tastings for larger groups, but here they were able to accommodate our group of 14 with an amazing experience! The service was exceptional and the property itself feels very intimate. We were able to sit out in a private covered area with a long table to seat us all and they encouraged picnicking so we brought our own boards. The history of the wine and property here is also super interesting knowing that it was all flooded just a couple years ago. Big thank you to the entire staff for a lovely time and making it a memorable weekend!

What a great place. We were a group of 12 and they provided a great covered outdoor area where we were able to picnic, as we brought sandwiches. We really enjoyed the wine tasting and variety of wines, buying 14 bottle along the group to take home with us!

We visited Gracianna Winery about a year ago at the last minute recommendation of our driver. Thank goodness Jersey Tom made this rec. We experienced some amazing wineries during our 3 days in Sonoma, but the combination of great wine and hospitality found at Gracianna put this little boutique winery heads and shoulders above the rest.

I’d give 50 stars if I could and happy to tell anyone who will listen what a fabulous experience I had yesterday at Gracianna! Fernando is a joy of a wine host and human! He was by himself in the tasting room, beyond busy with a couple large parties and multiple smaller groups, yet took such good care of us - checking in with more wine at just the right moment, a fresh carafe of water, little snippets of stories about the winery and its history,personal anecdotes, all the right things to make an amazing experience. He’s the Tasting Room Manager, and manages it all with such grace, humor and passion for the wines and what he does! I work in the wine industry and am hard to impress (with wines or experiences) - consider me impressed and blown away! The wines are phenomenal, their Pinots are swoon-worthy, Fernando is a treasure, and the setting at Gracianna is a slice of heaven! We’re blessed with a million tasting rooms and an abundance of good wine in our area, but it takes people like Fernando, places like Gracianna, and wines like their Pinot Noir to remind us how to stand out! (Oh and their Rosè and Cab Sauv were also delicious!)

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Graciana. The staff were all lovely and we had the opportunity to chat with the owner who told us many fascinating stories about the history of this family-owned vineyard and the wine. This place is a gem. We loved visiting this vineyard and hope to return on our next trip to Napa!

I've been to Gracianna several times in the past as It's a favorite destination of both my wife and car club. Everytime I stop by I always get at least 1 bottle of Pinot Noir and a Sauv Blanc and/or their Zin.They probably have one of the best Pinot's IMO.The owners are very nice and have always been more than accommodating to us. They've gone well out of their way to open up their winery to our car club so that we can have event's/car shows at their location.Speaking of, their estate is amazing. Gorgeous views with open spaces to sit and enjoy their wines and the view. Try the Mercedes block Pinot, trust me...

Had a fantastic return visit to Gracianna last week! It was a pleasure to be served by the very knowledgeable, but also charming and relatable Fernando who gave us a great tour of the wines. The pinot noirs especially were all incredible, but the Zin we tried and the whites and a rose were so very good as well. Loved hearing a bit of the rich history of the place and this winery's philosophy. We were lucky enough to meet the owner Trini once again this time - to learn more from him and have a very nice genuine conversation like we'd known him for years. We definitely treasured our time at this beautiful winery and can't wait to return!

We attended a private event and also engaged Carson to guide us through some wines we wanted to taste. He was warm and welcoming, and managed to project both a natural hospitality and a high level of customer service. We were Wowed!

Super chill and laid back to just kick back and relax. Beautiful location off of Westside Rd. Cindy as your wine educator and hostess is friendly and genuine with a ton of local knowledge. Great varietals and a true representation of Sonoma County wine country. Great experience!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Airbnb at Gracianna and also did a tasting in the tasting room during our stay. Everything about the experience was fabulous - from the wines, to the hospitality, to the views, I can't recommend this place enough.

This was my first time visiting this winery for my friend’s birthday. It’s nice because they can accommodate larger groups at this time. The winery is absolutely beautiful and we got to sit outside right next to the vineyards while we were drinking wine. The wine is DELICIOUS and refreshing. Hospitality was phenomenal. And their cute dog, Sadie, came and joined us while we were tasting wines. Couldn’t have asked for a better tasting!

Had a fantastic experience with Fernando! If you want a laid back and fun experience with a beautiful view and award winning wine, Gracianna winery is the place for you! I joined the wine club and when you join the club you get a medallion with your own slogan and it's placed on a vine in the vineyard. Thank you, Fernando!
